Moved to new location, 5211 University Way NE. enjoyed rainbow roll and the Ankimo (monkfish liver) special. The Ankimo was surprisingly mild and a sushi I had never tried before. We did have an adventure trying to split the bill on multiple credit cards. We also received a complimentary appetizer new to their menu. I am not sure what type... More

This a great find. Has a family feel. Good food. Fairly priced. A few outdoor tables. Down to earth. Eat here if you are looking for good sushi.

Village Sushi was amazing! My daughter and I loved it! That we kept on ordering more! The prices were very reasonable as well. Was in walking distance of our hotel. Great location easy to find. Small on the inside. I believe they take reservations. Wwe went when it wasn't busy and got right in. But they did get busy after... More

Chef Joe (?) if I recall was an excellent host. Good fish , well presented and a good sake list. The collection of music memorabilia, living room feel and jazz playing added to a cool atmosphere. I'd bring friends back here.

We went there recently for dinner and found it to be a good place to get decent food in a comfortable setting. I'm not a huge fan of sushi, but my son said that the pieces that he ordered were excellent. I had salmon and it was very good quality and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were very tasty,too.... More

Funniest reviews. So we decided to give it a try and found a passionate and knowledgable chef. The food was fresh and presented as it should be. Mostly student clientele. The decor is humble and eclectic. We enjoyed our evening and if we are in the area we would come again.

We love sushi so were pleasantly surprised to find a great place in the u district. They were flexible adjusting for food allergies. Although we had take out the place appeared to have a great ambience. We would recommend it!

while food was decent, the service was horrible. The server brought drinks but no straws, then we had to wait for him to come back for 30 mins to ask for straws. He brought them in another 15 mins and took our order. Then he brought soups without spoons and we had to wait for him another 15 mins to... More

We had a sudden hankering for sushi while driving through Seattle, and found this cute place right off of I-5. Great find! Good, fresh sushi- not the most creative menu, but great quality. This is a small place, with a laid-back funky atmosphere. Where else can you hear jazz playing on vinyl and eat sushi at the same time? The... More
