Columbia City Ale house has been around a few years. I've only been for drinks and have enjoyed my visits. It's really easy to find as it's located right on Rainier Ave. S.

Columbia City is close to our new neighborhood, and that's a good thing, because of all the wonderful restaurant choices within a 3 block radius. The Ale House is certainly one of them. Their chicken sandwich is delicious. Moist, messy, and just the right sized portion. Couldn't ask for more! Service is always friendly, efficient, and welcoming.

We took a couple of beers and some snacks. The foccaccia was huge and delicious. The waitress was for sure not ordinary, but she was lovely and sweet and made our day.

withWay back; Columbia City was known as "Garlic Gulch" because of the heavy Italian-American influence. Today Columbia City resides in America's most diverse zip code. This truly universal neighborhood has turned out a quality example of an all-American pub. Of course, American Pubs are just British Pubs or Irish pubs located stateside and usually without the corned beef or Yorkshire... More

Visited this pub several times over the last couple of years with business guests. The food has remained consistent over every visit. It is simply excellent eats. Blue plate specials are always a treat and be sure to get the potato salad. it is quiet enough to have small meetings with your guests and don't have to yell to over... More

Stopped in for light dinner. Food average quality and average price for bar food. Beers were a little warm for my liking. Ambiance was above average. Local hang out with several lone patrons working on laptops and / or talking on cell phones.

This cozy alehouse is located in the heart of Seattle’s Columbia City neighborhood. For beer there is a well thought out list with about 15 choices. The burger I ordered was prepared as I requested. The meat was of good quality and served topped with sautéed onions on a fresh baguette. Their burgers come with potato chips rather than fries... More

I had lunch at Columbia City Ale House and enjoyed it immensely. I had one of the best reuben sandwiches ever. The staff will recommend a nice beer to go with whatever the occasion. The ambience is local flavor with a touch of an English Pub. I know the staff well as I am related to one but not the... More
