We were welcomed by the owner who treated us as if we were returning not first timers at the Olive & Grape. The food was very tasty and with large enough proportions that I had enough for meal at home. The balaclava is home made and is better than other places in the whole world!

I recommend reservations as there is no convenient place to wait. We went without reservations and went to a sports bar a few doors down and they called us in about twenty minutes when they had a table. Everything was satisfactory considering they were packed. Parking is behind the restaurant and you have to enter on the street one block... More

I'm a a fan of Olive & Grape, their very friendly manner, solid kitchen and gracious host - who's usually Paola, one of the owners. It's relaxed, and reminds me of some small restaurants we visited in Italy and Greece. Having just eaten there during Seattle Restaurant Week, our three diners had excellent Mezes (ranging from grilled shrimp to a... More

My husband and I decided to try dining at the Olive and Grape on Valentine's Day. I made a reservation for 6:30 PM. It was crowded and we were seated in the very back of the restaurant. Even though it was a Price Fix type dinner, it took so long to bring the entree to the table that I thought... More

This great little spot is just across from Taproot Theater. We try and come early for dinner before a show and Olive and Grape have shared wonderful food both times we have tried it. They were a little short staffed for our mid-week visit but seemed to help us hurry along once we received our meal. I noticed there was... More

WOW, these guys amazing! And their food is delicious!! We were on the hunt for a catering company for our wedding. We wanted something affordable that wouldn't cost $50+ per head. Anytime, you say "wedding" almost everyone adds an extra zero to their quote. But not The Olive and Grape! When you go in for a tasting, Paola and Chris... More

We went here as part of Seattle Restaurant Week in which more than 165 restaurants offered a 3-course dinner for $32 and some also added a 3-course lunch for $18. As we wanted lunch, we went to The Olive and Grape, one of the few participants near where we are staying that included lunch as part of the promotion. It... More

We have eaten here a few times before attending performances at Taproot Theatre. The food is acceptable though to me seems unremarkable.

Review in 30 seconds: Ambiance & Atmosphere: Warm, inviting and cozy. First - Dessert: MUST GET THE BAKLAVA! Best I've ever had. Hands down. Food: Absolutely delicious. I haven't had a bad dish here (visited 20+ times). The Kebabs are my regular "go-to" dish as the meat is always cooked perfectly and super moist. Doesn't matter if I go with... More

Description
Turkish, Italian and Greek... with a Twist
The owner, Paola Corsini, is from an Italian levantine family, third generation born-and-raised in Izmir, Turkey.

Paola’s distinct culture is represented in the menu at The Olive and Grape. Each and every meal served is infused with the traditions of Turkish and Italian cuisine. Their dishes reflect a lively repertoire of scratch-made meals designed to please any palate. Crafted with imported Turkish olive oils and fresh ingredients sourced from the Pacific Northwest, their menu caters to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences, including those seeking vegetarian, vegan, kid-friendly, gluten-free and heart-healthy options. Sweet-tooths of all ages will delight in treats like baklava, Tiramisu, Crème Brule, and D'Ambrosio Gelato. She describes the food as her culture. Most of the recipes have been passed down within her family. Being Italian-Turk and raised with Greek influence, her kitchen focuses on these three cultures.
