Outlander is a quirky local Fremont brewpub that serves authentic flavorful beer with "colorful" names (ahem). We had the Saison and an IPA, and both were authentic and excellent.

This is clearly an old house they turned into a brewpub. The "beer garden" out back has some good places to hang out and drink a beer. There are even hops growing on the wall and the smells of beer brewing next door. We sat on the patio which was nice. They have games and cards for people to use.... More

From chocolate peanut butter stouts to 'biggus dickus' ales to 'Dill with it' sours, I have had the most memorable beers here. Coconut & Like is another delicious one that I had tonight. They've upped their food game to offer a bigger menu, including savory pies, and have food and beverage deals throughout the week. There is also outdoor seating,... More

We had met a friend at the Wine Thief and wanted to have a couple brews. So I asked Siri to show me breweries that were close and Outlander BrewPub popped up. Literally 2 blocks up and 1 over, that's where we went. A simple sign on the street lets you know you have arrived. This BrewPub is a remodeled... More

I love that Outlander feels like walking into someone's house. I immediately felt at home and very comfortable. I love trying new beers and that's exactly what I got when I came to outlander. Some of the unique flavors were absolutely amazing and ingenious. Other beers missed the mark a bit in taste but were equally as creative and inventive.... More

I stopped in here with a couple of other friends. Did not know what to expect, since we just "dropped in" for a drink. They had a nice assortment of beers, not limited to one particular kind, so everyone found something they would like. We sat outside on the porch, but there was indoor seating. I would definitely stop back... More

What a cool atmosphere, I tried the basil pale, the strawberry wheat, and the maple ale. When we were there on NYE there were board games and a band playing. The bartenders were friendly and it was an easy going atmosphere. This was my favorite place in Fremont! Worth checking out, even if just for the beer!

Had the peanut butter stout, raspberry imperial stout, peach sour, and dry stout. All of the beers with the exception of the latter one were all very nice. The house was well maintained. The staff were very polite. Highlight on my brewery crawl. Would return. :)

After a Seattle friend stated that this is his "go to" bar after work, I decided to explore. This is an old 2-story house with cushy old furnishings and creative beer. I enjoyed a fruity Belgian style brew at the bar. The bar patrons and staff were friendly and inclusive. The brewer at the bar is a beer expert. I... More

Outlander beer is Outstanding! Very nice historic (?) house where the beer is brewed in the basement. Small bar area, but lots of seating throughout the house. The bartender was really nice and knowledgeable about Fremont. The other patrons were also friendly. We will definitely be back for me beer! (We did not have any food).
