Good option for gluten-free waters who still want a decent Italian meal. Menu was limited but the options were varied and unique. The food was very good and the service was polite, willing to deviate from the menu without complaint. The atmosphere was trendy/modern with a hint of rustic European. A dinner for 4 with only 2 glasses of house... More

My wife and I had lunch at Piatti with some friends during Seattle Restaurant Week and really enjoyed our meal. It was a three-course meal with choices for each course. I had the soup, clams, and gelato. Very good. We compared dishes and were suitably impressed with the food, atmosphere and the service. University Village has undergone a serious facelift... More

We were pleasantly surprised! Unique dishes with Italian flare. Broccoli and brussel sprout appetizers were amazing!! My test for good Italian food is if they could make a good bolognese sauce. Happy to say that they passed with flying colors!!

Last time before this date was about 6 years ago, and the first time here maybe 15 years ago. Have to say this latest foray was, at least in memory, a delicious treat. We split the best manicotti since eating a lot of it in NYC in the 60s and 70s. Followed by a delicious spaghetti with a half dozen... More

Had a reservation for 9 people after the UW Women's basketball game where Kelsey Plum made history. Our group came in at various times after 4:30 reservation. Server was Jeffrey and he did a superb job by splitting the checks up for our group and by making us not feel rushed to leave as the restaurant completely filled up later.... More

This is fresh, authentic Italian food. The U Village has lots of dining options but Piatti is a favorite. My diet is currently very limited but the chef was willing to cater to my restrictions. Service is excellent, food great, location great. . . it was a wonderful dining experience.
