I studied abroad in France for half a year and happened to be visiting Seattle. I was skeptical about going to a French bakery in Washington, but it was definitely worth the visit! All of their pastries and even the coffee is very authentic to a real French bakery. They do tend to be relatively busy and there is limited... More

Right beside Pikes Market so you can take a quiet break from the hustle and bustle to sit and eat an eclair with your coffee. Really great treats that aren't doused in sugar.

This is packed with tourists which is as to be expected. Ordered a chocolate almond croissant, an almond croissant, an Americano coffee, and a cappuccino. The chocolate almond croissant was delicious but the almond croissant was dry. The Americano coffee was decent but for my cappuccino I received something that looked more like a latte. However, no matter what it... More

If you are wanting to say you went to the original Starbucks, that is great. Walk by and take a picture and avoid the line. They burn their beans like every other Starbucks. Keep walking to Le Panier just a few doors down. The best service, great pastries and a great cup of coffee.

We had breakfasts here a number of times, including breakfasts last Saturday and Sunday. The Almondine is our favorite. Other pastries are also great. We always have some pastry with cappuccino. The artisan breads look wonderful.

We stopped by for a macaroon or two and ended up with a chocolate croissant and 3 different macaroons. They were all heavenly and I'm not sure which was our favorite. We tried the salted caramel, pistachio and dark chocolate macaroon. All sweet and divine. If you are in the area, it's a must!!!

We were told by friends who used to live in Seattle to definitely go to Le Panier for coffee and to have something sweet and delicious - that was great advice!! Great coffee - although as with all coffee shops in North America if you want it really hot then you need to ask for it to be super hot... More

I had their famous macarons here. They were really good and the cookie part was filling. I am used to the macaron cookies being hallow inside, but this was full! I have no idea if that makes any sense, but if you love macarons like me I hope you know what I'm talking about. I had lemon, passion, caramel, and... More

Tarte Belle Hélène was really good but I would have loved it served warmed and maybe with a scoop of ice cream :-). The chocolate macaron had a great flavor and the texture was perfect....but definitely over priced at $2 each. The hot chocolate was just ok and could have been a lot richer in flavor. The line can be... More
