food was not great service was worse plus they add 20% to the bill without choice for tip, party of two! I will not go back, went here a couple years ago it was great but now everything has changed including the crazy décor, the wait staff is probably the worse I have encountered and I left half my meal... Let's start out with the positive. My campanion and I had the spicy jalapeno margaritas. The were flavorful and was perfectly infused with fresh jalapenos. The chips were fresh and their house salsa had a great smoky Chipotle flavor. The salsa verde was tangy and slightly chunky. Nice consistency. Then there was the main dish. We ordered the Elvis burrito,... More

We visited for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night. We had the complimentary chips, and the salsa was much better than anywhere we've eaten in our hometown. The burrito and quesadilla plates we ordered were great. The drinks are a little pricey, but they were good. The waiter/bartender had us laughing. This place is good! Go!

Pros: The pozole was very good! Cons: Menu was stained with some kind of sauce on the back and had a piece of rice stuck to the front of it. There was a chunk of cooked onion on the table when we were seated, so not impressed with the cleanliness. I ordered chicken fajitas, and asked that they put in... More

I can understand why some people might like the ambience, but I didn't enjoy it. Kitschy, 50s like oilcloth tablecloths, an Elvis room, very dark, little lighting. "Burrito bowl" presentation looked like mush piled on a huge chunk of iceberg lettuce. Flood was bland, with the exception of the salsa. Chips were greasy.

Rain, fog and a very slight breeze…a downtown Seattle combination that set the scene for a hot and spicy Mexican evening meal. Mama’s was a couple of blocks from the VRBO property that we were staying in and had caught our attention on our numerous hiking explorations around town. We did a little on-line research and found that it had... More

Stopped here for dinner with friends and were not disappointed. 9 of us were seated quickly and the staff was great. Very nice, engaging and friendly. TONS of Elvis stuff on the walls, it was actually pretty cool. All of us really enjoyed our food and the drinks were strong. Nothing outstanding, just a good solid place to get a... More

We visited this restaurant whilst we were holidaying in Seattle and we fancied a Mexican meal. The service was good, and the Margaritas were evidently quite alcoholic! The restaurant had the atmosphere of a cheap canteen. The starters were okay, but the main course left a lot to be desired. Their 'beef' tasted like reconstituted dried meat and was terrible!... I don't understand how a place like this can operate. Hygene is nowhere to be found, let alone the foul smell of old (very old) urine, that smell gets more offensive as one aproaches the men's restroom.

I'll start the review by saying I'm from Texas, and am a HUGE fan of Mexican food... that being said, I'm not sure this is totally true Mexican food. To start off, chips and four different salsa were delivered to the table. It was very good, but they advertise 5 - make sure to ask for all of them. The... More
