We had been shopping in Seattle on Sunday and needed to eat before headng back home and we in the Pacific Place indoor mall downtown and decided on Gordon Biersch. We sat in the bar and perused the menu. The restaurant was full - it has been full every time we have gone there - but our server was prompt... More

A few years ago Gordon Biersch and Rock Bottom were merged by Centerbridge Capital Partners. As a result, we are seeing Rock Bottom closures in our area. Last night I discovered that the Rock Bottom across 5th Avenue from Seattle's 5th Avenue theater had closed at the end of 2016. The sign in the window suggested the nearby Gordon Biersch... More

Having worked as a server a long time ago in Seattle far far away when this place first opened this was a bit of a homecoming. The years have aged us both... the food is ok and if you are hungry it will satisfy, but the menu could use a makeover, (I suppose I do too!). Had the ribeye steak... More

I'm sure they have more than just burger and fries, but that's all I cared about. The burger I got was soooooooo good. It was the 3/4-pound double bacon double cheeseburger. I loved the crusted edge of the burger. And the garlic fries were legendary! Seriously, that's what it said in the menu. I was a little hesitant to believe... More

Normally this restaurant is a good consistent place to eat. Not this time. I ordered a bloody Mary and had to send it back due to the incredibly old celery that the barteneder choose to use. They were out of celery. Crazy, kinda like being out of ice. Two of the five meals that were ordered contained "fresh avacado" the... More

I ordered the Mahi Mahi and it was like eating a hockey puck. So dry, hard and way beyond cooked. I could barely chew it and finally gave up. The sides had a lot of garlic in them. Disappointing experience but I guess my fault for ordering a healthy item at more of a burger place. Would not return.

This is not a gourmet restaurant, but it has good, filling American food and is particularly convenient if you are planning to go to one of the movies at Pacific Place. Great happy hour and nice staff.

I’m not normally a fan of chain breweries, however, I do like Gordon Biersch breweries. This was no exception, the servers was very helpful with our initial selection and attentive throughout our stay.

The food is okay. The service is okay. The location is good. There are lots of restaurants in the area, some with more character and perhaps better food. My recommendation is to venture out and take a chance, unless you need something reliable and centrally located. If that's what you need, Gordon Biersch is as good as anything. Note -... More

A restaurant needs to be pretty bad or exceptionally good before I'll go to the trouble of writing a review. Unfortunately, in this case, it's the former. We were there on a Monday night, the week before Christmas and also Opening Weekend of the new Star Wars movie. Yes, Pacific Place was hopping and so was the bar at Gordon... More
