Very generous sized dishes. You will not leave hungry. The service is pleasant. The food is good. Was easy finding parking on a Sunday.

First time here. Three of us all had remarkable meals, two Benedict dishes and one scramble. Did not save room for the pastries, which looked pretty sinful. Looking forward to another visit.

We were with a party of about 15, most of whom left disappointed. The server was nice and portions were generous, but the food was just plain bad. I went with an old favorite, biscuits and gravy with eggs. On the plus side, the eggs were good. The biscuits seemed a little past their prime and the only flavor in... More

An Eastlake institution that serves large breakfasts and endless refill coffees. The waitresses call you "honey" and the place has a worn-in feel that is at once comforting and non-hip. Prices are reasonable for Seattle. There's something for everyone here, including vegans. Nothing will blow your mind, but you will come away full and satisfied.

Our late breakfast sampled eggs benedict, the waffle special and huevos rancheros along with one of the best cinnamon rolls we've had. Locals abound in this Eastlake Ave neighborhood spot that features a variety of coffee shops and restaurants that make this a destination stop near the famed boat houses at the end of Lynn Street several blocks below 14... We wanted a quick breakfast and were visiting near the 14 Carrot. It was a Saturday, so expected it to be busy. We were lucky to get a table right away.s

I do. I remember my father's loyalty to businesses based not only on the quality and price but on his belief in and support of the proprietor. I still maintain that to this day and will travel out of my way to honor that loyalty. The 14 carrot café owners have that loyalty from me. Every time I am in... More

Stopped here for a bite and was very impressed with the large amount of choices for brunch, including lots of daily specials. We chose chilaquiles and huevos rancheros, and both of us were happy. The service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant is light, airy and has nice art. All in all a good bet for a weekend morning.

All-day breakfast. Brunch-type food all week long. These people know and love breakfast. (Other meals too, but it's breakfast I want.) Everyone welcome, regulars treated like friends. Delicious food in hearty portions. A place to come again and again--or to bring visitors. Friendly service, no fawning, no phoniness. Not a cheap diner--and not a hipster hangout. One of the rare... Funky little Greek Café in business district Eat Lake Union in Seattle. Lot of good American food served by friendly wait staff. Kept our family in stitches while enjoying a great lunch.
