My family visit Seattle maybe once or twice and year and The Melting Pot is the restaurant that the kids always want to go to. The food is excellent and plentiful especially when participating in their 4 course menu. The service is also excellent, with some very friendly staff. Can't recommend it enough!

The atmosphere is very warm and calming. The lighting is low, there are a lot of rich earthy tones decorating the place. The waiter was very calm and friendly, very professional. The food was excellent, very tasteful and well prepared.

You need time for this experience and although we had two hours there was not quite enough, even though we only had fondue and an entree as our burner was slow and fizzled out. The server assigned to us wasn't as attentive as needed to be for our situation but when we spoke to the manager, he was over the... More

The "4 Course" is the only way to go! The most difficult part is to not fill up until you reach the entree. Bring your adult friends for a memorable dinner... and ask for Mark! A once in a lifetime experience!

We have visited different "Melting Pot" locations and the food is always great! We love everything: the cheese fondue, the salads, the main course (especially the "mojo" broth) and last but not least the chocolate fondue for dessert. It is a great restaurant for a special occasion! Our server was friendly and attentive regarding our needs. I just gave four... More

We came here on the spur of the moment on a Friday evening as my nephew said it was wonderful. I had never experienced "fondue dining" before and he said it was worth it. Waited almost 2 hours (wandered around Queen Anne for most of the time) before we got in about 9 PM. Not used to eating so late... More

This is our go-to special occasion/romantic dinner restaurant. It's pretty expensive (at least if you do the four course meal) but totally worth it. I can't even decide which type of fondue I like the most--cheese, broth, and chocolate are all equally amazing. The variety makes it great. You get to try tons of dipping items with all three types... More

We have been to this melting pot location several times - this time was not a very fun experience. Twice employees called my husband "My father" it was kind of embarrassing and annoying after we told them that he was my husband. Also, our server was not friendly at all...he had no personality and only refilled our water when we... More

Oh this was fun! The staff was friendly, fast, and funny! We had reservations and got right in. We had never been there before so the staff explained each option, and as they delivered each course took the time to give some cooking tips. It was wonderful!

If you're in the mood for fondue, this is the place! Keep in mind that fondue necessarily means that you cook your own food so I don't think the reviews complaining about the high prices given that you have to cook your own food are fair. The wine list is both impressive and extensive allowing you to carefully make a... More
