My husband and I had a fabulous meal at Phoenicia. While we had a bit of a wait despite our reservation, it was worth it, and the restaurant comped our glasses of Prosecco we sipped while waiting. When we were seated by the window with a view of Alki beach, the fabulous experience unfolded. We ordered a bottle of Forgeron... More
based on all the reviews, we decided to get a pizza at this quaint little restaurant along the water. I've eaten pizza all over the world and grew up in Jersey so perhaps I'm a tough critic, but I wasn't overly excited about the pizza here. Great service, great location however!
What a great meal. Service was excellent and the views of the Bay and the beach area are great. The room was very tight, but I didnt feel squished. It is a tapas place We enjoyed the pizza, some spreads, a beef dish....all really good. I really recommend checking it out if you are wanting to eat on Alki!
My daughter and I enjoyed dinner here tonight: marinated olives, grilled portobello, caprese salad (best I've ever had), margarita pizza, and a bottle of Murray cab. Food was fresh and flavorful, wine was lovely, and service was friendly and efficient. We lingered until closing without anyone nudging us out the door, and followed up with a brisk walk on the... I've been to Alki Beach before, but not on a Saturday night! Get set for what will be a night you won't soon forget. We chose this place for its Mediterranean fare and my love of lamb. With a third of the menu pizza, I was excited to order the special on the menu. DON"T!! It was less than good:... More
We walked along Alki looking for dinner and with other places crowded, we stopped in at the quiet Phoenecia. It did get busier as the evening went on, but was not noisy. We opted for a salad to share (it was large, so definitely share) and a pizza. We were still hungry so had a chocolate mousse cake and the... More
Great little modern Italian-style pizza and small plates restaurant on Alki Beach overlooking Puget Sound. Clean, stylish and casually sophisticated all-black interior, this is a family-run place and you'll see the Mom and sisters often, always smiling and nice. The pizzas are very good, with the chewier Italian-style crusts and well portioned toppings including lamb sausage, figs, hot peppers, and... More
Mostly focused on small plates and pizzas to share with a very limited wine selection. Tried the Italian red wine that was surprisingly good. Caprese salad was tasteless but pizza was good as long as you like heavy focus on "crust" which is almost like white beead. Hummus combo was fairly good but nothing to die for.
Loved it. A local friend shared this very intimate restaurant with us right on Puget Sound in West Seattle. Great place to share small and entree plates with an adventuresome group. We had four people and the varied menu offered many choices. Waitstaff were very friendly and efficient. Reservations are a good idea. Arrive early to find a parking spot... More
