My wife and I live quite a ways north of Seattle. We received a gift card for the BD, and took the opportunity of a birthday gathering in the area to venture down and try this place along with my wife's daughter. Although it might...More
We were here for a wedding and my daughter took us for lunch. Upscale pub fare, friendly staff and dog friendly both inside and out. I had the lamb burger, my wife had the lunch portion of the fish and chips, while my daughter had...More
Good food! Beer was limited, they ran out of the first 2 beers I selected. Were helpful in picking another beer. Service was sloooow. Entertaining , but slow.
Shortly after the Barking Dog opened at 11am on a misty Seattle Saturday morning, I stopped by—with our wonderful Golden Retriever Riley in tow—for a cold one. [NOTE: I had left my “best friend” Terry at home to read a thick book in the spacious...More

Always stop here when visiting family in the area. Wish they were in my neighborhood back East. Big beer selection, always something good to try. Updated menu, standard pub food but well-made. Best thing is it's only a short walk home.
The beer selection is extraordinary, the food is pretty good, and the service is hit or miss. The spotty service, combined with the long wait for a table can make for an underwhelming experience.
