I have eaten here at least 30 times, but will probably never return, due to the lousy service!! The waiter Scott clearly did not care about what he was doing and was assuming he'd get a big tip. In a restaurant that prides itself on its wine, I had a specific order for flight of whites. After 20 minutes, he... More

I've been here several times with friends from work. They love it. I only like it, but usually would choose somewhere else because i guess I'm not all that into an 80 page wine list or being careful to pair my meal with the perfect $16 glass of vino. The food menu is not nearly as big as the wine... More

My brother-in-law, who is a wine and food connoisseur, chose this restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day with my sister, niece, and myself. We began our dinner sampling Dungenees Crab Cakes, Housemade Sourdough, and Grilled Cauliflower. All of the appetizers were delicious. It was difficult choosing main courses because everything sounded so good, but each of us ended up with a... More

Delicious food, thoughful wine flights and very friendly and accomodating staff. Pasta, seafood, and vegetarian options were plentiful and tasty. Staff was very friendly and accomodating in helping with recommendations to eat and assisting my elderly mother. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Seattle.

We ate here one evening and my wife now likes Dungeness Crab Cakes. They were delicious, but equally the pasta with Veal and Pancetta and the other dishes we had were wonderful The wines list is extensive with some very interesting choices available. Friendly staff and well paced meal lead to a very good evening out.

Nice place with a trendy interior. Nice place for a date. Food was good, large wine selection as well. A little pricey, but overall a nice place!

My husband and I went here for dinner. Started with crab cakes and cranberry chicken salad. Both were outstanding. We then shared the crab roll and veal bolognese. Melt in your mouth. We were sad our meal was over. Great wine choices. We did Oregon noir, Malbec, and pink noir tastings. Would definitely go back.

We were in Seattle to celebrate our Anniversary and thought we would stop by The Purple Cafe and Wine Bar for dinner. I had read great reviews but we were extremely disappointed. The wine bar is beautiful but the prices are outrageous. We live in the Pacific NW and good wine is abundant at reasonable prices. They had wine flights... More

Four of us visited for dinner on a Saturday night. Since we have been eating heavy while visiting Seattle for the last four days, we decided to eat light and share multiple appetizers. I enjoyed the Cranberry chicken salad and the others shared calamari, roasted cauliflower, and a cheese and meat platter. Everyone's food was outstanding. The only negative is... More

I thought this place was terrific. We visited with three generations of family. Everyone from the old fogeys to the youngsters had a great time. There's something on the menu for everyone from the kids to the discerning foodies. I'll admit I drank the TripAdvisor Koolade, and had the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Simply decadent with the Gruyere cheese and... More
