My wife and I were in the downtown area of Seattle and stopped in at the taphouse for a quick lunch. Service was excellent food even better. Did not try any of the beers offered , but it looked like they had most everything you could ever want.

Down to the basement level a surprise awaits. Although you may first notice the curved lounge room with the red velvet wall, turn your head to see the bar behind which there is an entire wall of beer taps. Our visit was on a Tuesday evening and we did not have reservations. We arrived about 4:30 in the midst of... More

We started at the The Tap 4 nights in a row. 160 beers on tap. We had appetizers every time and we very good. Flat bread and calamari were my favorites. Happy hour on Washington beers and appetizers was a good deal. The wait staff was personable and efficient. I will definitely go back. Also, Thanks to Miele for the... More

The restaurant is in the basement, we nearly missed the entrance. We went there Sunday evening for dinner, and since pretty much every other place in the shopping district was closed had to wait some 30 minutes. Still, there was a lot to look at so time passed quite quickly. Service was great, very quick and helpful, food was great,... More

Great food and selection of beers. It was also our most reasonably priced meal in Seattle. Would return.

We were in town for a national conference and a large group of us made reservations for dinner two weeks in advance because it was near the hotel. The service wasn't the best but understandable since there were 30 of us and only one waiter. The food on the other hand was terrible. Several of us couldn't even finish our... More

I was here twice in January with my husband and some of his work colleagues. Wish I could remember the name of our waitress, because we had her both times and she was just awesome! The beer selection is amazing too as were the apps.

Excellent wide choice of 150 different brews on tap. The food is also good and usually a plateful! Very good place to hangout to watch your favorite sports on big screen TVs.

Much like the Ginger Man in NYC having loads of beer taps doesn't mean you are a great beer destination restaurant. My waitress was great (yo, Joy, why are you still working here?) but bar service was rubbish. My pork sliders as a starter were OK, but my cod (and that WAS NOT cod, it was tilapia) was overcooked, tough... More

Love this place. Their normal list of beers on draft is 160.....but their rotating list of beers is the place to pick.

Thank NicoBNL
