We tried the Lobster Crab & Corn Chowder. very tasty, not fishy like some smelt along the way & the sour dough bread bowl was a great finish!

My wife and I were in Seattle this past weekend for a little get-away. We love strolling through pikes place market, and trying different foods. One of our favourites is always Pikes Place Chowder. i have been on both coasts and eaten a lot of Chowder over my years. Their clam chowder is by far the best. It has a... More

Ok, line was a little long, but it moved along. Know exactly what you want when you get to the counter though. The chowder is simply excellent...all of them. The sampler is a great deal...4 chowders for $14. Not a whole lot of seating, so if you have young kids, the chance of having to stand and eat is high... More

I was hanging out for another taste of this chowder and it didn't disappoint. Thick, chunky, delicious - if you come to Seattle you must have some

There was a line when we arrived I went for the original clam chowder and it was good but not as good as I was expecting considering all the hype and all the other reviews

We all sampled different chowders and frankly found them not too memorable. The Market chowder on the day of our visit was lobster and clam and the soup was far too rich to the point of being stodgy, bland and made me feel a bit ill, the Manhattan chowder was overly fishy to the point of off-putting and the vegetarian... Good service, reasonable price, but the seafood bisque chowder was too salty for me. Fries with chowder was interesting, and pretty good.

Competed against these guys in Rhode Island a few years ago, they were good then, still good now. Got it to go, but back at the hotel, it was still piping hot and delicious.

I was wondering around the market shortly after arriving in Seattle looking for seafood and stumbled on this right around closing. I had the chowder sampler because I wasn't sure which kind I would like and was happy with that decision. My favorite was the market and the smoked salmon ones. My least favorite was the New England. My hotel... More

this place is one of a kind. almost no seats and the storefront is small, but there was a long line. Worth the wait. The service is fast and the food is fantastic.
