We stopped in before the Iditarod musher's banquet. Crowded so the service was a bit slow, but given the time of year with the race I expected it. Great food and drinks, with an ample selection of food!

We stopped in after walking around the downtown of Anchorage. It was a Thursday evening and they even had a band playing old Irish Tunes. Great selection of fitting Irish meals too and fairly authentic overall. The beers on tap are quite a good selection as well.

We had some friends come in from out of town and when there for dinner. It has awesome food and a very nice menu to choose from. Great service and friendly.

I went in on a Saturday night, as I waited for friends making their way downtown. I had the BEST Moscow Mule I have ever tasted! Then, I looked at the menu and it looked good! Friends joined in and we liked the rueben sandwich (lots of meat) and the Guinness Beef Stew (nice and spicy). I would like to... More

First visit to our local Irish Pub. This was a bit disappointing, it was fairly steady but not super busy. We walked in and there were only two people working including the bartender. We looked around, grabbed some menus and seated ourselves in a booth. After about 10 minutes the bartender came over and took our drink order and we... More

Good beer and good sandwiches in a casual atmosphere. Wasn't crowded when we were there early on a Friday evening, but there were some locals in for a drink. Well located in the downtown area.

Good irish pub with good beers and burgers, especially halibut burger or cod fish and chips But it's the worse service experience we had in Alaska: They kept double gratuite on 2 folks of our group leading to get 5 more Bucks of gratuity !! They tried to Sell irish coffee without wheep cream! And invoiced A Tiny pièce of... More

A typical pub environment with a good variety of food on the menu. There are several large screen televisions tuned to sports. I had Shepard Pie and my wife had a burger and both were very good. Another person in the group had corned beef and cabbage and liked it. The corned beef was the largest portion I have seen... More

Enjoyed ourselves, ordered Ruben sandwich with fries and chowder soup. Great food, a little slow, only one person waiting tables and tending bar. Starting getting crowded as we where leaving. Would go again.

If your looking for a place quieter than 'Humpy's' which is just around the corner then McGinleys is the place. The menu is an authentic selection of Irish dishes and there is traditional Irish music being played. They also have live events. Shepard's pie tasty and filling and the fish n chips not bad either.
