When ever we are in Anchorage this is a must stop. Get anything, it is all good. Their sushi rolls are a full meal complete with appetizer, soup, salad, and desert.

So we were there a couple of months ago and have to say that it wasn't as good as it normally is. The saki tasted like mushrooms - it was pretty weird. The fish did't taste quite as fresh as it normally does so it was a bit disappointing. Might not be back real soon.

This review is for Ronnie 2 which is actually different from Ronnie's on Jewel Lake rd. They are similar but they have different menus and options. Last time we visited this location had a free dinner option for kids and more experimental sushi options like the cheeseburger roll. I've always been impressed by the service, how quick and fresh the... More

we confused this to the thai restaurant and went in, but its a nice place by itself. We were going to a japanese restaurant for the first time but liked most of the dishes. * The ambience is dark but looked clean and good; * they give some complimentary soy soup and edamames for every order, so plan your dishes.... I've been to both Ronnie's locations multiple times for both lunch and dinner. Ronnie's 2 on Muldoon is better than the one on Jewel Lake. It is much quieter so you are able to talk with your table and not have to yell. The service is excellent and the food is just as good.

We love the food and the service at Ronnie's 2 on Muldoon. The staff are so friendly, the food is great. I suggest the Chirashi, which is my favorite. They will make it, even if it is not on the menu.

I usually go to the one on Jewel Lake. That's usually where you can find Ronnie. Very kind atmosphere and very welcoming. Ronnie is for sure a social butterfly and you can tell him anything when he's serving you. If you like the food or not, let him know. He'll make sure you leave happy, full, and satisfied with your... Went here after seeing a movie with a group of people. Ordered two appetizers. One the gyoza was fine the other, Yaktori chicken was overcooked and dry. All ordered tea. Came lukewarm not hot. Maybe that's they was most of their customer's like it. The entrees were nothing to brag about. My wife got the teriyaki chicken. That dish was... More

The bento boxes were typical and satisfying. The appetizer of FBI roll was nicely done. The problem was the Halibut with crab. I questioned the waitress what kind of crab was it. She said she wasn't sure. She thought it was several pieces of crab meat. When it arrived I lifted my bland, flavorless halibut to see a mound of... More

We stopped in for dinner and were very happy with the service, food and ambiance. The staff was friendly and attentive. The sushi was delicious and the extra attention to detail made it look like art. The ambience was quiet and relaxing and finally the bill surprised us most. I sent the bill back thinking they must have summed it... More
