This wonderful restaurant has vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The menu is only in Icelandic but the staff were more than happy to read it to you in English. Everything was fresh and good!

With gluten free and vegan options, this is such a wonderful breakfast and lunch spot. Quality fresh ingredients and owner is so kind! Cost was very reasonable for Iceland. A must! We will definitely go back !

Stopped here for a light lunch on our way from Keflavik to Reykjavik via the Reykjanes Peninsula. Lovely strong coffee and freshly prepared sandwiches served by friendly, helpful staff. Relaxed and comfortable restaurant with a warm sociable atmosphere. Great introduction to eating in Iceland.

Last full day in Iceland, burnt out and tired of spending $60/mediocre meals, randomly found this place. The sandwiches alone were delicious and fresh, even the bread was toasted just right. The price unbeatable! Ended with the carrot cake, it was to die for. We were so impressed, we asked to speak with the owner/operator/chef/baker (you can tell she puts... More

After checking in at the hotel in Grindavik they recommended Hja Hollu to eat lunch. Two buildings away we meet the nicest waitress ever. After ordering chicken and vegetarian lasagna we could enjoy the best meal ever. For desert I can recommend the chocolate cake with caramel sauce 😋

This place is a hidden gem right near the blue lagoon (inside a little mall). Hard to find but a MUST go foodie adventureZ The food is incredibly fresh and healthy and the price is fair! We went twice in our week long trip to Iceland. The first time we had curried chicken with brown rice and salad and the... More
