We went after enjoying a matinee performance of the Christmas Revels at Sanders Theater. We had a reservation for our party of four and were seated immediately. The house was full so we were happy we'd booked ahead. It's a warm friendly spot. Everything we ordered was enjoyed and that ranged from a New York Strip Steak to Fish and... More

We visited on a week night in December before the Revels with another couple. Very convenient location off Harvard Square and a short walk to Sanders Theater. Noticed a sign when we we got there that they had parking, a help in this busy spot. Has nice warm atmosphere, modern not stuffy but still able to have a conversation without... More

Hands down best place in Cambridge. I've shared many moments here among which graduation dinners goodbye dinners, birthday dinners and random brunches and it's always perfection :)

Spacious restaurant with friendly servers and great food/cocktails. We ate here for both brunch and dinner over a period of several days and had a good experience both times.

We stopped in as we wandered around Cambridge and the Harvard campus. As I recollect, all the food (Caesar Salad, Shrimp & Grits and Point Judith Fried Calamari) was fine but nothing stood out. Service was reasonable. As this was the weekend, there were a number of unsupervised children running around.

I had the Fish and Chips. It was very good and tasted a lot like Fish and Chips. I also had clam chowder. It was a little on the tepid side. Could have been better. Washed it down with some stout, and it made a real Boston experience. Reasonably priced pub food.

We were a big group at dinner after a one-day conference (free dinner for presenters). We were given a choice of starters, main dish and dessert. The portions were huge and everything was absolutely delicious! The salad for starters was almost like a main dish. I had salmon, others had steak or chicken or risotto. Dessert was cheesecake or something... More

The fish and chips was delicious. It was November, but warm enough to eat outside and it was fun to watch people going by as we ate. The servers were efficient and friendly. A great place to eat if you are in Harvard Square.

We had lunch there while visiting Harvard Square. The service by Jeffrey R was very efficient and professional. The food was fine but not great. The ambience is great and is located across from the university.

Description
Opened in 1996, Grafton Street Pub & Grill has been a beloved institution of Harvard Square for almost two decades. This neighborhood hotspot is named after the spirited cobblestone-lined shopping district in Dublin's famed Temple Bar area. Grafton Street deftly combines the warmth and coziness of a traditional neighborhood pub with the aesthetic of a contemporary restaurant. During the summer months, guests can enjoy al fresco dining on Grafton Street's spacious sidewalk patio. The restaurant offers full bar service and boasts a seasonally-changing wine list with over 75 varieties, as well as a robust selection of craft beers from several local breweries.
