After touring the National Park mills all day, we found this Pizzeria to be a pleasant respite. We chose an outside table located at street level, where we could watch the ebb and flow of pedestrians in a beautiful early evening. Our server was efficient...and accommodating. My wife and I both ordered 10 inch personal pizzas selecting our favorite individual toppings. We really enjoyed our choices, as the thin pizzas were very tasty and crispy - not at all doughy. My favorite brew made the evening even more special. So good we didn't even leave any crusts! Good choice!More

The food is excellent I went in there for take out today because last week my first time there it just didn't work first I got sat at a table that was dirty and they were going to come back and clean it which they...never did I had to clean up myself then my beer was sour and when I told them I had to go get it myself I got my pizza and my onion rings 15 minutes apart when I explained to the lady today as I get my takeout she wasn't really interested in what I had to say all she had to say was I apologize but it was obvious they didn't want to hear what I had to sayMore

Started with Livi knocking it out of the park at the Deva dance competition so we were psyched to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Got shut out at LBC and got to a great standby, Temonte. We love this place! Needed two booths to handle our...group of 8. Vaughn, our sever, was totally in his game, juggling ours and other tables from the competition. So, well mixed drinks, tasty brew, scrumptious apps got us going. Then three phenomenal pizza’s, a juicy burger, and chicken Caesar brought it home. New go to place for Dave and Tay. Plan is for Shauna to get Vinny to join them. Kathy and will most likely watch the kids! Thanks for taking such good care of us V, the kids loved the ice cream sandwiches!More

At the price of $9.50 this is a very good deal. Service was prompt and friendly. Would return if I found myself in the area at meal time.

Dark dismal large pizza place. Bar seating, regular and outside seating. Beware of Spaghetti with 3 huge pressed meat balls and not much spaghetti (see my photo). I left feeling hungry! The waiter just laughed when I told him! Probably the pizzas are acceptable? Would...not go back.More

Tremonte Pizza serves some of the best pizza in the area. The downtown Lowell location is ideal for gathering with family or friends for all occasions. The bar area is always welcoming and crowds gather to watch local sports on the televisions. There is outside...dining on a fairly quiet street that affords great people watching. Save room for dessert because it is one of their specialties.More

As residents of Lowell, we have eaten the wood-fired pizza in the past and enjoyed it. That being said, we have also encountered the "odd situation" as well. For instance, we walked in on Saturday evening before 6 and requested a table outside for 2...people. The host replied "there will be a bit of a wait", I asked "what is a bit?' to which she promptly said "5-10 minutes". No problem, put our name on the list. That was the extent of our conversation. As we waited inside, I noticed there were several empty tables outside and I wondered had they been reserved. After 20 mins passed, I approached the hostess and before I could ask my question, she said smugly "There is still a wait for the outside tables. I explained to you when you came in that there were several parties with 7-8 people and the kitchen was behind. So I cannot seat anyone at those tables." I replied "You must be mistaking me for someone else; if you had said the kitchen was behind when we first came in, we would have left. In fact, you should inform all potential patrons of this fact before you even take their name" Again, I got the same canned "I told you about the large parties...." Anyway, the hostess name was KATIE and she was quite rude. We have heard the "kitchen is behind" routine several times at this establishment in the past, so we know better than to stick around and expect them to catch up. KATIE needs a few lessons in customer service, among other things. If you can deal with someone treating you rudely, you'll be fine eating here.More

We stopped in here for dinner during the Lowell Folk Festival. They were extremely busy and there was a short wait which was understandable. The host texted us and called us when our table was ready, 15 minutes earlier than anticipated. All the staff we...encountered were very pleasant and personable despite having been deluged all day on one of the hotttest days of the summer. We were so impressed with the efficiency of this finely tuned operation working in an open kitchen. The servers never stopped moving and were very attentive to customers. The pizza was terriffic (order the large as the small is more like an individual pizza) and the menu has a lot of variety of affordable options. Having walked around the City comparing ambiance and menus of other restaurants, this clearly was the best choice! We'll definitely be going back.More

We have stopped in Tremonte's several times while visiting family in Lowell. We visited there on a late Saturday afternoon in the middle of May. The weather was very nice and we sat outside on the patio. Allen was our waiter and was very helpful...and had a great, upbeat attitude. We enjoyed the food; pizza, meatball sub and a chicken parm sandwich.More

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Stopped in with friends to grab a couple quick pizzas and apps. An hour after arriving and being seated we had to flag down two waitresses only to be told our food wasn't ready yet, but they would try to get our apps...out. We also had to go to the bar to get our own drinks, where the bartender didn't want to serve us. I had to get to an appointment and needed to leave by 7:15. This shouldn't be unreasonable when you arrive at 6pm. However, by the time I had to go, our food still had not arrived. All the staff was aloof and uncaring and there was no manager in sight. Complete waste of time and lack of service. Although I've previously enjoyed their pizzas tremendously, I will never go back.More

This place is so mismanaged it’s remarkable it’s still open. Understaffed, no service, no regard for customers. The four of us arrived at 5:30 and were told the wait would be 45 min. At least 10 empty tables—including inside and out—were visible. We were told...that there was no staff to cover the tables, so we couldn’t be seated at one. We asked if we could sit at one and just get drinks, and wait the 45 minutes for food service. The answer was no. Excuse me, what? What? That doesn’t even make sense. We gave our names, and crossed the street to Fuse—which by the way has a friendly, welcoming staff—had drinks and apps and then crossed back over to Tremonte, expecting a table. The hostess told us she called our names and when we didn’t answer took us off the list. Again, what? We certainly weren’t going to stand in their narrow space for 45 min. She was totally unapologetic, actually rude, so we asked to speak to the manager. The manager basically supported the hostess, telling us there was nothing she could do. I forgot to mention 5 tables were empty. She was extremely dismissive, saying it was a busy night. Yes, Saturday nights ARE busy. So? It isn’t our fault you are understaffed. And by the way, there is always something a manager can do...if she wants to. How about saying, “I’m sorry this happened.” That would be a good start. We’ve had terrible service and cold pizza (which we waited 40 min for at lunchtime when there was barely anyone there) at this place twice before. And usually the servers aren’t particularly professional either. Decided to give it a third chance. Never again. Talk about ruining a customer’s night. And besides the staff and pizza at UnCharted are so much better. I would give this place, and especially the manager, zero stars if this was possible.More

I've visited Tremonte's in both Lowell & Tyngsboro on several occasions and have always been pleased. Last nights visit to the Lowell location was spoiled by very disappointing service. We were a party of six ordering various dishes. When the orders came one pizza was...wrong. The waiter was apologetic and stated he would correct it and it wouldn't take long. All five of us were finished with our meals before the pizza came out. It wasn't even delivered by our waiter but rather the maitre D'. When our bill came, the more expensive specialty pizza was there rather than the one ordered. When pointed out to the waiter, he said he'd correct it. Our response was "why are we even being charged for it, everyone was done". I was now pretty much a take out order. He was contrite and did take it off the bill but only after being asked. I understand that mistakes happen but the waiter should have been more proactive. Although he was apologetic about the error, giving us a bill with the item still included doesn't make the apology seem genuine. It left everyone disappointed in our night out. If this is standard practice, then I believe management may need to give the wait staff a refresher on good customer service policy. I won't let this one incident stop me from going to Tremonte's again but it does leave a "sour taste".More
