Great food and service.... Fried oysters were very good. The waitress was super friendly. So good I went back the next night.

This is definitely a neighborhood hangout. The food is surprisingly good. They have an extensive regular menu with lots of daily specials and happy hour drink specials. If you appreciate seafood you will be happy to know that many if not most of the specials are seafood. Can be a little noisy and crowded. Nice patio seating option.

This is a restaurant with character that is simple and , worn but homey. We enjoyed our omelettes and coffee. Sat with a stranger who we asked to join us a he was alone. He gave us a brief history of the diner. Good value good typical food from a diner with character.

Dot's is a modest neighborhood restaurant with good food and what appears to be a substantial following. The service was friendly and the food was good with generous portions. On a recent visit we had the swordfish and the chicken Marsala, which were both very good. The dishes came with a choice of two sides, which were somewhat inconsistent in... More

We much enjoyed our visit to this well-known diner. The food was all right, the staff were friendly and it was clean. I enjoyed the decor, as well.

Family meal, large group. We got excellent service, everyone loved the food. I ordered the quiche and it was huge! I had enough for the next day. I also ordered asparagus that was cooked to perfection. One of the best quiche I ever had.

This place gets pretty crowded, so you might have a bit of a wait. It feels more like a bar than a restaurant, but it is more of a restaurant than a bar. It's loud though. The food is brilliant. The fried catfish sandwich special was unbelievably good. The black bean burger and black bean nachos are also really good.... More

Visiting my sisters in Richmond, and they suggested Dot's. Very glad we went! We were seated outside to enjoy the beautiful early-fall weather. Service was prompt and super friendly. I'd checked out the menu online, so already had the Ragin' Cajun burger in mind. It was delicious, though it could've been spicier (it was more like mild-mannered Cajun.) One sister... More

Fabulous food at a great price. Be prepared to wait. The restaurant is small and but worth the wait. We ordered Elvis pie for dessert. Was delicious.

Went on a Fri. night, three of us. The food was very good, decent serving sizes. Like the atmosphere, but it was sorta loud. I would go back. Fried oysters were fresh and tasty, only a little salty. Collards were good. Nice beer selection.

Thank Rick C
