I have been here a few times to grab drinks with friends. Atmosphere is always fun. Don't expect it to be quiet.

Went on a Thursday night and the place was packed with regulars. The service was indifferent as if we were a nuisance but the food and drinks were great. Reasonable prices and large portions. Bring your hipster self and you will fit right in.
Went this past weekend for a friends birthday brunch get together. Very impressed with the menu selection, normal tex mex offerings, burritos and such-also very robust brunch menu. I had french toast and bacon, but definitely will try a bowl or omelette next time. Everyones food came out quickly, correctly, great service, good coffee, GREAT Salsa and great atmosphere. Fun... Banditos was definitely the place to let loose on the weekends a few years ago but it's just not the same anymore. They stopped doing two dollar rails on the weekends and you can no longer smoke in there. The food is average, some of the staff are super nice while others have been super rude. Thanks for the good times... More
Bandito's is an excellent Tex-Mex bar/restaurant, with good food. Two different rooms, one smoking, the other not (which we sat at) and had a good meal. Reasonable prices and sports bar atmosphere (we were there during NFL Wild Card playoffs). Rowdy but fun.
This plays allows smoking in their main bar/dining room so that is a draw back for me; however, the food is always good and the service very fun and entertaining. Some days I'll poke my head in for brunch to check out the smoke level.
Kind of just a 45+ hang out spot... mediocre food and mediocre environment. Once the older crowd stops showing up I am uncertain how this place will survive.
One of my favorite TexMex restaurants in Richmond. Great food and drinks. Enjoyed the Lodi and Mexican pizza. Absolutely great salsa!
