Three of us had their Monday night May dinner special $6 steak. The meat was well prepared and very tasty.

I probably love Baker's Crust more than any other restaurant in Cary Town, but you can't beat the price for delicious food (and outstanding coffee and pastries!)

The sweet potato biscuits are the reason we decided to try this place for brunch - unusual, so we wanted to try. They were great! The dishes on the brunch menu were all very creative and it was hard to choose. The unique preparations for eggs benedict are incredibly delicious! Friendly and quick service. Relaxed atmosphere. Go!

We chose this place because it was central for all parties. Not too busy on a weekday night. We were too late for happy hour but the prices are very reasonable anyway. We ordered calamari and onion rings as appetizers to share. Wine and beers offer something for everyone. Food was delivered hot and timely but we didn't feel rushed.... More

Strive was slow, but it was a great day on the patio! No one helped when we walked in and our group was waiting on the patio. After standing there for at least five minutes, we just decided to find it great brunch.

I love Baker's Crust for a nice lunch - from the food to the atmosphere. Their brunch especially, I'll never get tired of. I still want to know what champagne they use in their mimosas, I'll be sure to find out next time. I recommend their Pork Belly Benedict (see photo) - instead of a usual English muffin, they use... I used to live in Richmond and frequented Baker's Crust and it's still definitely a mainstay for me when visiting the area. My boyfriend and I were passing through on Sunday and stopped in for a late lunch. He was expecting a "sandwich shop" so he was quite surprised by the diverse menu, local beers on tap and the fact... The redecorated Baker's Crust feels open and lively. Lively sound, too: read here: noisy. Good menu selection of good food. Deep fried items tended to be overcooked. Health concern: The wait stasf touches the rim of the glass with the pitcher on refilling. That practice could spread water-bound illness.

I ate at Baker's Crust several months ago and ordered the pizza and beer --"the special" that night. The pizza was terrible, but I thought cheap beer and pizza was a good advertising ploy. I decided that I would not fall for that again. So, tonight my husband and I stopped by and he ordered a salad and sandwich combo.... More

While driving through Carytown in Richmond yesterday, we stopped at Baker's Crust for a loaf of fresh bread. I asked what is the best seller & was told it is the sour dough, so that's what we bought (5.00). We had it for toast & sandwiches yesterday & sandwiches today & I need to visit again for another loaf.
