Avenue 805 is an ok restaurant, but the atmosphere is just ok, food is just ok. Nothing special and no real reason to return.

Extremely rude and narcissistic feel and attitude of staff and management. I will never step foot in this restaurant again. COMPLETE DETAILS The Attitude: Narcissistic and Arrogant Let me start by saying there is an overly upper-crust feel and attitude in the air as if...More
Loved the look of this place walking in, but that's where the highlights ended for me. The service was very mediocre and they didn't have any beer selection on tap that night because they had "burst". Of course, I understand that bad thing can happen...More
The atmosphere was the best part. The food was not worth the price. It seems like they are trying really hard to make it fancier than it really is. I did leave my debt card on accident and when I called back they had it...More
Food was good, nice selection of brunch drinks, Bloody Mary bar seemed popular. None of the wait you see along main/cary at 11 on a sunday morning, and comparable brunch food.

Don't get me wrong the whole meal was great. Eggplant soup served with crustini and goat cheese was a highlight also. Cheesecake made on premises was to our taste. Not the 'creamy' kind. Real substance.

I've been here for dinner a few times and enjoyed it, but I have to watch my pennies these days. I find that Avenue 805 has become a favorite Sunday brunch spot. It's quiet & softly lit, the perfect place start a lazy day with...More
When White Dog closed it's doors here, we were saddened as we had designated it as "our place". When we found 805, we knew we had found a wonderful replacement for "our place". We have thoroughly enjoyed every meal we have had there. I find...More
