Live in the village so constantly challenged by the choice locally. Having walked Monte Mayor wanted a relaxed glass of something and a light bite. The corquettas de la abuela were divine - an entree but savoured as a sharing platter just filled the gap. The Roquefort dressing was amazing and the fresh warm bread and olive oil was a... More

We have been coming here in Spring and Autumn since 2007, perhaps 5 times per year, Such a beautiful spot with excellent food, generous but alos beautifully cooked. Such simple things as hors d'oeuvres are presented well and always tasty. I would love to explore the wine list but I have to drive. Spirits are excellent and generous, says my... More

We came to this rstauarant because we'd used it on previous holidays. Benahavis has significantly expanded over the past few years and there are more restaurants and existing restaurants have expanded out onto the streets making it very much a continuous outdoor restaurant which seemed nicely busy, even in late September. However we walked past them to this restaurant which... More

Great food at very reasonable prices in one of the prettiest locations in the fabulous mountain village of Benahavis. Eugenio and his team will make sure you are looked after whether you are a couple, family or group of friends

Came here during our holidays for the past two years and I just love it. The staff are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is basically to die for; nestled in the back streets of a little mountain town with local musicians playing in and around the venue. It feels very historic. Honestly couldn't recommend the place more! I will be... More

I went with my family recently and whilst the food was OK, I found the service was poor. They did not seem to cope well under a little pressure. Myself and my wife had Fillet Steak - we asked for my wifes' to be well done and it was medium at best. We were also massively over charged for the... More

Visited benahavis and las canas with my husband and three children. We had suckling pig (very good), spag Bol (Ok) and lamb chops which were amazing!!! Service was good, a little pricy but the location made up for this. Would definitely go back

My wife, 2 young children and I ate here a few nights ago. It began well, I was the only one to have a starter and the gamba Pil Pil were beautiful. From here it went down hill. The service was abysmally slow, the kids meals were a joke and despite asking for a portion of French fries they never... More

Managed extremely well by Mandy this family business produces consistently good food and service. Over the years the menu and wine list have become more refined and today the kitchen produces good quality food at reasonable prices. Of particular note is the Tuna Steak for fish lovers and the fillet steak if meat is your preference. The home baked brownie... More

Went to this restaurant Friday June 24th with 4 friends. The food was ok but everything else was very poor. Disorganised and very slow service. 20 minutes to get wine to the table and when we ordered another bottle we were told it was the only one they had. The excuse for the service was that the waiter was very... More
