The restaurant is easy to find as it is situated at the entrance of the village of Zahara de la Sierra and there is sufficient parking capacity in front of the restaurant. We selected our starters from the specials of the day and went for...More

What a gastronomic delight! The setting for this restaurant is opposite an azure coloured lake. We chose pulpo for a starter and was surely the best we have ever eaten. Our fish was amazingly fresh in fact all the meal was cooked to perfection. This...More

Our friends and ourselves visited Zahara on the day after Corpus Christi - a Monday, the straw was still spread everywhere in the village centre. After an extensive stroll around we had lunch at Al Lago, a placed we visited several years ago and had...More

Each year we visit the restaurant al Lago with our family. The food and the view is well worth the 1.5h drive from medina sidonia where we stay for our holiday in my sisters house.

Unexpected high quality of dishes for such a small village. Great find. Lunches and dinner available and even breakfasts can be taken on the terrace in summer.

One of the best meals we had in Spain. Visited at lunch time & ended up having three courses as the food was so good (we are not normally dessert people).

We stay near this restaurant so we just went to eat there without knowing anything about this - and that was a surprise. Super food , delicious deserts - everything from a master chef.

Just before coming on holiday we had seen Almong soup on a TV program. They serve it here, and it is delicious. As is the Gazpacho. All the dishes we had were presented and ooked beautifully. Very enjoyable for lunch or Dinner.
