There were two of us when we stopped by chance because we saw a board advertising a set menu for €8.50. In the end, we saw that the dishes were only €6, so we thought we'd get one each and split another one. They were huge portions. We had some meatballs in a delicious tomato and onion sauce, some nicely... More

We stopped at this restaurant by chance because the one at la Cueva del Gato was closed, and boy were we happy for this mishap ! We took menus of the day, and the soup and the dish of the day were truly delicious ! Not refined or standard, but authentic food clearly cooked with lots of care and love.... More

A friend took us all the way to Benaojan to taste some tapas. It was an excellent choice! Friendly people and fine food. We surely return !

We found this by chance when we turned off the A-374 (rather than going into Ronda for lunch). Parking is just off the road outside the restaurant. We chose to sit outside (under cover) to take advantage of the view. We were attended to very quickly and made to feel very welcome. The menu had a good choice of fish,... More

Ate here recently and the menu del dia was very good. The setting is lovely with the sun streaming down onto the ample terrace. The meal includes a drink so very well priced and good quality. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

We travelled all over southern Spain and never found anywhere better than Las Banderas. Such a friendly place with great Spanish food and personalized service. Our server wanted us to try all of the local liquor and insisted that it was on the house. We were quite grateful for his incredible hospitality and would come back anytime. Gracias from your... Las Banderas is a family restaurant run by father Pepe and son Antonio. It is informal home cooking, but for what they are aiming at they do it very well. The food is tasty, well prepared, and portions are really generous. Be sure you're hungry! They have a menu in English as well as in Spanish. (If you know a... More

The service is good and friendly with a good atmosphere. The food seems as though its what they have left in the kitchen and not good. I was sorry as the waiter was so nice.

We had a wonderful meal at this lovely family style restaurant after a very stressful day. The kitchen lights had been turned off when we arrived but we were warmly greeted and provided with complimentary tapas while we waited for our meal. The food was delicious and plentiful. After dinner we were given a try of Dad's spirits and introduced... More
