Great modern Mexican with unique flavors. Many dishes were creative takes on traditional dishes. All the adults agreed the food was delicious. The kids were not as impressed. Be warned there are no burritos, quesadillas, or nachos! But the kids tried some new meals. Next time I'd go with just adults.

When we first got to the restaurant, they told us they had no room until 7:15 (though the place seemed to have a lot of space). When we tried to make a reservation, they told us we couldn't make a reservation until 7:30. When we were finally seated, our waiter was very friendly. My parents ordered the fried cheese and... Got guacamole for appetizer and tacos with carnitas for entree - Chipotle carnitas are much better than these. Meat was salty and not that flavorful. Some people may say that there are "different" salsas or guacamole that other restaurants don't have but even the basic guacamole wasn't good compared to other generic restaurants I've been to. I think the ingredients... More

We dined here in April before a concert. A Trip Advisor search of options in the area led to making the reservations and they didn't disappoint. My husband is a taco devotee and of course had those while I opted for their 'deconstructed' taco option. We also splurged and had the salsa and guacamole sampler. Our waiter was fantastic and... Luckily not Tex-Mex and the flavors were authentic. They could make many things to taste (no onions, etc.). It’s just off the Ritz-Carlton lobby, so pretty pricey, but dinner for 4 was still only about $250 with tip. The octopus was perfectly cooked and had a delicious sauce, which was minimal, so did not overtake the delicious fish. The pork... More

I went here with my co-workers while we were in town for a work conference. We had the best time! I started off with a Classic Margarita and we shared the guacamole and salsa appetizer which was out of this world! Our server, Mark, did an awesome job of explaining what each of the sauces were and also what he... More

Alma Cocina is a nice restaurant to stop by and visit if you're looking for upscale tacos and good drinks. My family and I weren't completely thrilled with the tacos we had but would be very hard for us to say they were the best we've had after visiting Mexico several times. We started off with chicharrones which were good... More

While crowded, was in and out in under 30 minutes. Food was a pleasant change from standard Mexican. Would have given Excellent except that the chips and salsa are not included.

Nice place. I wandered into this place for dinner because the restaurant was pretty and I liked the menu. As a most of the time vegetarian, there were a number of options although the avocado tacos came highly recommended. They were really good: the right amount of food, good flavors, and good presentation. In fact, all the food I saw... More

Went to Alma for dinner and drinks last night. We started by ordering 2 different margaritas (house and blood orange). The blood orange was super sweet and the house was "nothing special." We ordered 3 appetizers to share. Guacamole, empanadas and fried plantains. The guac was very plain and "nothing special." The empanadas were ok at best, but the sauce... More
