The menu was interesting and provided many pairings that need to be tasted. Wow! Dessert was equally as good. Three of us had the Devils, Beignets, Apples & Frisee salad, Poussin, and Duck. Dessert was cheesecake and Rhubarb and Meyers Lemon tart with Arugula ice cream. Wow!

We had a pleasant dinner at White Oak Kitchen. The menu is modest, so even with a group of four there was some repetition. The setting is dramatic -- tall ceilings and a view of office buildings. Unlike some of the other reviewers, our service was fine. That said, we were there on a Friday and the restaurant was not... More

We walked in for a lunch Sunday afternoon and wait only couple of minutes for a table outside. While waiting we noticed a small nice self-service bar, where you can mix and garnish your Bloody Mary yourself. That was catchy! We found out, that they have another one for Mimosas, so I decided on Mimosa and my husband for Bloody... More

We had a group dinner in this restaurant. The food was different, but certainly nothing to write home about. Service was mediocre--the waiter had no idea what he was serving and could not answer when asked if imported beer was available. A let-down.

We waited two hours for our dinners before walking out. The manager said they'd somehow "lost" our table's orders. This despite walking right past us for over two hours. They didn't even bring bread. The appetizers were nice--all three of my half-dollar-sized shrimp beignets were fine. Too bad that was my entire meal.

We enjoyed the food very much! However, the service was very lacking. We ordered starter first and then made a decision on entrees a little later. The starter was completely forgotten so we reminded the staff. And to our surprise they then brought out the starter and our dinner all at the same time. Very disappointing and for the price... I was early to a reception at the Hyatt Regency so I ran across Peachtree street to see if the White Oak Kitchen served burgers. The manager told me they had a "Very Good" burger. I was in a hurry so I sat at the bar. The bartender said, "It is the best burger you have ever had." So, now... More

During a convention stay at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, we found this gem across the street. Our first visit was for lunch (can you say, BLT deviled eggs?) and we enjoyed fresh salads and appetizers. We liked it so much that we returned for dinner the next evening. This time, our food experience was fine, but our service experience... More

Never thought I'd being singing the praises of grits as past experience has been less than exciting. Same with the greens. However, the fried chicken, grits & greens were excellent. The burger was also delicious were the shrimp beignets. Most helpful staff. Ate their twice during recent conference.
