Lovely relaxed diner in the mall. Service was extremely good - our waiter was very pleasant and helpful. Food was good - watch out for the portion sizes in the Calamari salad!

I was here a year ago and posted a bad review, management responded with a rationalization, one year + later I gave it another chance and it’s gotten worse, they cater to the locals but not visitors. The staff act like you have to pass...More

We went there for their Happy Hour, and it was great. They poured a nice size drink, and they had really tasty appetizers. The bar was very crowded, which reminded me of the past. It is definitely one of the best Happy Hours in the...More

Had dinner here before a concert. The food was excellent. I had the bayou pasta and the calamari. Others in my group also enjoyed the food. However the place has lost its identity. This is a "tavern" and they asked me to remove my hat...More

Although Phipps Plaza is very nice, The Tavern has been declining for years. The bathrooms are dirty. Guests are rarely sure where to check in with a host. The cocktail waitresses resemble strippers.More

Taverna at Phipps was recommended to and it is a nice and very popular place. It is a bit ark inside and the music makes it more difficult to have a normal conversation. Service is very good and the food tasted very well.

Stopped in after tiring shopping day. Waitress was very good.. just the right amount of attentiveness and friendliness and very professional. My meal was decent and I enjoyed the atmosphere. One side was a reasonably quiet atmosphere, while the other side with the bar was...More

I ordered the Scallops with Capellini and it was a total disaster. Scallops were burnt with garlic oil, pasta was overcooked, mushroom was over seasoned and overall sloppy presentation. My colleagues Tenderloin was requested at Medium and came out Medium well almost Well done because...More

Famous for their see and be seen Happy Hours and beyond, The Tavern at Phipps is a bustling Buckhead hot spot where the drinks flow like water and the napkins fly high. While it's cocktails, lively atmosphere and best looking wait staff have made it a go-to spot for any night out in Atlanta for over 20 years, the classic American fare such as their trademark Tavern chips, hearty salads and Carnegie Deli pastrami keep you coming back for more.
