This place has been around fir years. Still good but not the same as 20-30 years ago. Excellent salad bar and good Southern dishes. Service was excellent. There are some stairs to climb and an excellent piano player.

Looking from the out side it looks like a nice charming place, but walking in it's looking a way to old in the decor. Not the cleanest place i have been in . Service was slow if not at a stand still the the wrong order was put down. It was not any ones at the table order.Just not the... More

This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant and it was fabulous!!!! The sidebar with the various salads was scrumptious. There were so many entree choices- fried chicken and ribs was my choice. Outstanding!!! Served with stuffing... mouthwatering!! My spouse ordered the nights special- filet with blackened shrimp... oh boy!!! The meat was so tender!!! Collard greens, black eyed peas,... Pittypat's is a cute place--an old house with numerous up and down levels, likely geared to tourists to Atlanta. Was a little nervous to see jello cubes on the salad bar, but the food was very tasty and the service was excellent. Meals include the salad bar, which includes a whole variety of great southern items. Dinner entrees include black-eyed... More

The hotel I was staying at recommended this restaurant as a place for authentic Southern quisine. I hope this is not representative. The Gumbo was bland and the panfried catfish had even less flavor. They kept trying to throw more sides and salads at me even though no one could possibly eat the amount of food that was served. The... More

We stopped by on a Friday night for a quick drink around 8pm. Only a couple people in the upstairs bar. Very nice southern decor. We were met by a very friendly bartender, Doug. Lots of Pittypat drink specials. The Hurricane Peach drink has a homemade liquor combination that is tasty and smooth. Reasonably priced for a downtown bar. The... More

You must like deep fried foods, or be willing to taste comfort food without guilt. Great family atmosphere, like eating at aunties place.

We did take out on at this restaurant since we were so exhausted from Americasmart. It was right around the corner from our hotel. Indigo. They were so quick. We got the fried chicken, which came with mashed potatoes and a choice of sides and cornbread. It was delicious and very hot for take out. Order the pecan pie for... More

Description
Downtown Atlanta's Oldest Southern Dining restaurant since 1967. We are a "Gone With the Wind" themed restaurant, a place where the characters presence are felt from the menu to the overall decor to the memorabilia on the walls. We have created a menu of Southern classics that have been enjoyed by groups large and small from the moment we opened our doors. Dishes such as, Aunt Pittypat's Fried Chicken, 12 Oaks BBQ Ribs, Georgia Catfish, just to name a few. Our menu also includes delicious appetizers and tempting desserts made fresh in our bakery daily. We have a full bar, plus draft beer by local breweries and a Specialty Drink menu to wet your whistle. So come on by and let us show you our Southern Hospitality!
