Southern Vegetables and Food at its finest. Service is top notch. I don't even like greens and I loved their Potlickers Soup. Go very hungry because you will want to eat way more than you actually can.

I am Southern. My Mama West would have been in awe that this kind of establishment existed. She is the finest Southern Cook I've ever known and much of what I love to eat and cook was learned by edging into a small kitchen, pulling up a chair and peeking into pots simmering, boiling, frying. This is Southern cooking, home... More

Hands down a hidden gem. The location is not at all hidden, but the food and atmosphere is amazing. I've been here more times than I can remember. Fun for family outings such as birthday parties or a new holiday tradition. You'll be happy that you gave this place a try. The best stand in for your granny's cooking!

I recently had the pleasure of eating lunch here with my daughter and my mother on a trip to Atlanta. I had seen a segment on a Travel Channel show that featured Mary Mac's and I determined to try it on our visit. I am SO glad we did. The atmosphere and wait staff were excellent and we enjoyed our... There is no doubt that the food here is out of this world. The menu covers just about every "Southern" dish you could think of, and every one I've had has been very satisfying. The problem here is that you cannot get in the door. The last 3 times I have been here, which was on either a Saturday or... More

We are out-of-town visitors from the Midwest, so we wanted to try some southern cooking while visiting in Atlanta. So glad we decided to come here! There was only a 20-minute wait on a Monday evening, and then the service was very good once we were seated. The menu is varied, the setting very nice but not stuffy, and the... More

My boyfriend and I ordered a couple of different things. To start we had hush puppies and deviled Eggs and they give you cornbread, cinnamon bun and biscuits.... they were amazing .. I ordered the fried chick and Mac and cheese and collards. I didn't like any of the above ... Mac and cheese had too much egg and collards... More

Mary Mac's Tea Room never let's you down!! The fried chicken, veggies, and even the pot liquor and corn bread is delicious!! My favorite of all are those little, cinnamon rolls!! Truly an Atlanta favorite!! A must try if ever visiting Atlanta.

I would go again but food isn't seasoned well. I had fried chicken no seasoning to me. Turnip greens lots of vinegar no other taste to me. Hush puppies were little spicy but really tasty. Mac n cheese was liquidy but ok. Peach cobbler needed more flavor. I will go again but there is more hype than country flavorful soul... More
