I found the service here wanting. (It must be said that in Spain the waitstaff will often leave to your own devices, perhaps out of a desire not to pester you, but the staff here were underwhelming.) We ordered a beverage when we arrived at the table and, after delivering the wine and tapas, no one ever came, over a... More

We had a very enjoyable experience here - its sad that some didn't because the location is wonderful! Apart from th guy coming around trying to sell fake designer handbags and the singer / guitarist who began to play then came around for some money... it was lovely. Great paella, service good - no complaints from us!

First time in La Herradura, looked a nice beach bar so gave it a try. Yes the property is rather lovely...but the food is terrible, also some rather miserable looking staff. Four persons ordered a variety of foods, sadly for us (as we had to pay) fell well under par. My partner & I ordered spag bol and lasagne. Bland... More

A smart-looking restaurant in a prime position on La Herradura beach and despite the beautiful location and decent food, it was a disappointing experience thanks to disinterested service. It took an age for our order to be taken and then our main courses arrived while we were still eating our starters! I had ordered a pork fillet with the addition... More

Wonderful location, good food, outside bar and sunbeds for only 5 Euros per day. Great sunsets in the winter months

We have been coming to La Herradura for 24 years and we love this village. Th beach bars have all been done up, which is probably a good thing but I preferred the rustic of before.Bueno was not ! The staff were not attentive in the slightest, we had to ask twice for tapas and 3 times for the bill.... More

First of all it is on the beach in la Herradura, not in Almunecar. This was a scruffy old place on the beach, where I had only ventured before for drinks. It has all been tastefully redone and is very pretty, with a pleasant beach view. I went for lunch and wanted to connect to Wi-Fi. I was given the... More

Met up with some girls for lunch who were mainly on holiday. Beautiful surroundings with a new completely refurbished premises (very Marbella). Now lets get to the food. As a local resident I am absolutely incredulous that any Chef of at least basic training would have the audacity to send out a piece of fish that was well past its... More
