All the beach restaurants on the beach in La Herradura have been forced by the government to upgrade their facilities or lose their licence. Last winter the restaurant was completely gutted just leaving the concrete pillars. Over the next few months it was completely rebuilt and opened at Easter. We were there for the opening and it is now really... More

Nice setting, loungy music, great service, comme il faut. Finally you can order a small bottle of good Cava instead of the full 75 cl bottle like in other places in the neighbourhood. The personnel is very friendly and professional. Cava was Codorniú 1551, luckily one of my favorites.

FRESH SEA FOOD ,better at night with candles. Sardinas, home salad, sea food in general, for a relaxed and romantic dinner outside with a candle ,first row from the sea. Nice service and food.

We thought this place looked great, on the beach and quiet between lunch and dinner service. We ordered 2 drinks, there was only 2 other tables of people. It took the waiter 2 attempts at our order and about 15mins to pour a beer and sangria and bring back to our table. We decided not to eat here. But the... More

Been here around a dozen times before. Booked today for lunch for five two hours in advance. When we turned up we were refused any if the nicer reserved tables but offered an unreserved table closest to the kitchen and furthest from the beach - the head waiter took a take it or leave or approach, we chose the latter... Located right on the beach. Very friendly service and great food. I had squid a la plancha which was absolutely superb. Others tried sardines, shrimp with avocado, mussels and fresh fish. Everyone was delighted.

What a delight it is to sit in the newly refurbished Sardina restaurant on the beach in La Herradura! Spotlessly clean, lovely views, delicious food and delightful staff. The fresh fish, either fried or grilled, are delicious supplemented by tasty salads. The wines are well chosen and realistically priced. A visiting guitar player / singer enhanced the experience providing very... More

This restaurant has had a total refurb. The food is typical of every other restaurant along the beach. Fried fish (more often frozen). Inflated prices, boring tapas, couldn't care less staff. This place should be outlawed and they should all wear masks. 25 Euros for 4 drinks and a plate of olives and a few prawns. Won't go back.

Food - local style, fish based, good quality Location - on beach, modern Atmosphere - a bit bright, staff not as friendly as elsewhere in La Herradura Ok meal spoiled by two issues: 10% impuesto estandard added to bill - cannot find definition, Spanish speaking wife has not heard of this, not added by other restaurants in La Herradura -...
