I spent the day in Frederick and decided to walk around the Main St area and came across Volt Restaurant. I had already eaten dinner elsewhere but was so intrigued by their dessert menu I could not pass it by. So glad I did. I...More

The atmosphere was nice. The service was good -- professional but not stiff. The wine list is pretty comprehensive and has some very good choices, though the markups are, in some cases, more than I think they should be. The food was very good. Interesting...More

Had just the best experience at the Volt. Brunch is so delicious and well paced. You truly feel like a guest at the restaurant and not just a customer. The seasonal menu keeps us coming back time after time.

We treated ourselves to their prix fixe Sunday (or Saturday) brunch, a more affordable way, for many of us, to enjoy Brian Voltaggio's house made, locally sourced cuisine. From the bloody Marys to the blueberry coffee cake, the eggs were the creamiest, the sauces were...More

I have been to most of the top restaurant in the USA and never came out being hungry. The quality of food is good but not great but the size of the portion is ridiculous. I had the same experience at Range in DC. The...More

Unique dining experience! Excellent service! We were both seated facing the open kitchen. Creative menu!! One recommendation we did make to the sommelier was to add rosé wines to the wine list, especially for summer time. Looking forward to trying their al fresco happy hour....More

Amazing! The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. A wonderful spot for a romantic birthday brunch. The prices were reasonable and the food was perfect. Loved the surprise birthday dessert!

If you want to spend a lot of money for fanciful looking plates with small amounts of food, you're at the right place. Five of us went there for a special birthday event. The restaurant is high end in appearance and the hostesses/hosts and wait...More

You get 21 courses at this table, which wraps around the kitchen. You need to book in advance since it is popular. I believe it holds up to eight around the kitchen windows and a few more 4 person tables in the kitchen area... More

You can find the menu on the website but I believe they do change from time to time, depending on what is in season or available as fresh. It's worth the visit!

Description
VOLT offers guests a menu of modern American cuisine. The focus of our cuisine is based on classic flavor combinations, creating sophisticated dishes that emphasize purity and seasonal flavors that are based on fundamental and innovative cooking techniques. VOLT's relationship with local artisan farmers ensures availability of products to fulfill the philosophy behind the menu, in a refined, historic venue where classic meets modern. By design, the restaurant follows along the original footprint of the mansions first floor parlors. Both the 38 seat main dining room and the bar/lounge open off the foyer. The original mosaic tile in the foyer was the inspiration behind the warm monochromatic color palette that adorns the finishes in VOLT. Private dining can be hosted in the conservatory offering views of the expansive courtyard. The 700 square foot kitchen afforded space to include up to 20 guests.
