It is a delight to have lunch at El Pegoli. We were with 4 people and had a choice of some delicious different starters we all had the same: lobster, roast leg of pulpa and the famous red Denia prawns all were very tasty, the main course was Corbina cooked in salt. The service, quality of food and atmosphere was... More

This is the second time in one year we have visited this restaurant in Las Rotas which over looks the sea. The service and food was to a very high standard, also the Cava and wine which we both tried. Well worth a visit when staying in the Denia area. Its a very old family business. Looking forward to out... More

This restaurant is in a prime position in Las Rotas overlooking the sea. We visited one lunchtime and as you walked through the restaurant to a terraced area over looking the ocean with swooping sail type sunscreens, sipping a glass of wine, you can't help to be taking in by the ambience of the beautiful setting. To be truthful we... More

We have been there at lunch time. Location: very beautiful terrace (should be very romantic at night). Service: fast and attention to details. The argentinian waiter suggested us the pulpo frito that was really good. Entrance: pan with alioli and tomate. Gambas de Denia (bit expensive) Pulpo frito excellent Fish: we ate the calamar and the salmoretes. Really well coked.... More

I've been here about 4/5 times now and each visit is well worth it. However, I don't recommend going unless you're a fish lover as they serve wonderfully fresh fish and delicious rice dishes. There is a small menu for meat eaters. On my last occasion we sat outside and the views over Denia Bay are lovely. The staff can... More

This restaurant never disappoints. The fish and seafood are marvellous, the service good without being pushy and the location is fabulous. You can spend a fortune on fresh lobster and oysters if you want but you absolutely don't have to in order to enjoy a memorable meal.

Wonderful views. Service was a bit obnoxious, being pushy about ordering more expensive dishes. We put up with it hoping the paella would be worth it. Unfortunately we were wrong. Way too salty and overcooked. Probably it has been great in the past. But it is no more.

We walked past on a Sunday lunchtime and by chance had one of the last tables on the terrace overlooking the sea with many divers, swimmers and seabirds to entertain us while we ate. Excellent choice of freshly caught seafood, we had baby hake, which was enormous and seafood paella, followed by sorbets soaked in local liquors. Service was good,... More
