a sorry evening's meal it has to be said, with the only saving grace being the friendliness of the waiter. The food pretended to be classy but just wasnt. the chips as they called them, actually fried potatoes were greasy, the paella over cooked with most stuck to pan, and the creme brulee simply an egg custrad, and the kids... Interesting and cosy restaurant with some typical tradional spanish dishes you won't find in many other restaurants in Denia. Quality of the food was good, as well as the service.

excellent service, food not so. salad to start just average, main course monkfish, prawns and clams, the monkfish had not been boned/skinned so was difficult to eat the prawns had still got part of shell on and the sauce overpowered the dish ( very strong fish sauce) my husbands steak was very small and a little overcooked.

Excellent food. Superb service. Unbeatable price... What else can I say? Menu of the day is the best I've had in years. Highly recommended. Thumbs up! Six stars to be honest.

When we entered an entire group of 10 people stood up and angrily walked out in disgust. Why we asked ourselves? We had to wait 5 minutes to get shown to our table although we had reserved and there was only one available. When the waiter came with the water he tried to pour it but did not realise that... Hidden away behind La Posada and El Raset Hotels this place is AMAZING value for money. Service is wonderful and they speak English. Now about the food - at lunchtime they do a menus for €10. It was amazing - big salad with everything, followed by scrambled eggs in. In a mould (fabulous) then Denia Mussels - wow! I was... More

So I went here with two friends of mine, I use to go with my family every summer to this restaurant and I loved it. Since a few months they have changed the owner and the menu is nothing compared as it was. Yes, it may be 4 and a half euros cheaper than the menu they offered before, but... More

We visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening at 8pm. It was deserted, but I know that most Spanish people don't eat out until quite a bit later so I can understand that. The restaurant was an indoors affair, all very lovely and proper with table cloths and wooden chairs which makes a sophisticated change from the plastic tables and... More

This is the best restaurant, in Denia and even of other places. You eat very well, typical valencian food, for a great price and great service! I go there at least once a year , every summer holidays I can. You get a menu with lots of entrances, then the main course, either paella, fideua, arros a banda plus the... More

Very bad quality. The paella was horrible, three little pieces of meat lost in a big quantity of rice. We said the degustation menu was too heavy for us, since then, the waiter and the owner ignored us ! The service was terrible, except when we asked the bill ! Avoid it !
