First time we have eaten here for a couple of years but it was an enjoyable meal. Even for mid week and early October we had a problem getting a table (I did not book). We only had a starter each but it was delicious....More

Although more of a restaurant I was welcomed to sit at the bar with my dog and Sat there for a few hours chatting with locals and the bar staff. Was under no pressure to order any food like states in other reviews, very traditional...More

As is usual with Cornwall, if you can get parked you are halfway there . Not much else around so thought we would give this ordinary looking pub a try. We found a table quite easily tried their excellent beer and ordered a perfect lunch...More

Just had lunch in this nice little pub. It was slightly tainted by the fact you could only park for one hour outside the pub in the village car park. We had already ordered when we noticed this annoying fact so was rather hoping we...More

Visited Saturday lunchtime. Busy and at first we were given a table upstairs which was a little souless, however after a few minutes we were relocated downstairs which was quaint with lots of side rooms. Waitress took our order immediately and was very pleasant. The...More

All the food looked very nice, and I’m certainly not the type to scrimp and save on a nice meal. But when I look at a ‘lunch’ menu that has a £10 ham sandwich on it. I’m afraid I won’t be ordering it. I’ll just...More

Popped in for a few pints and some Sunday lunch, great portion sizes and nothing on the plate didn't taste absolutely excellent with four different vegetables and potatoes... special mention goes to the Yorkshire puddings, as a Yorkshireman I can say these were top notch....More

Hi, we are open on Christmas day for 2 hours just for drinks, no food I'm afraid. Dogs are more than welcome, there can sometimes be more dogs than people in the pub so they must be on leads. All other days, food is... More

Description
The Plume of Feathers is a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. On May 1st 2016 we opened our 5 en-suite B&B rooms above the Plume, the rooms are beautifully appointed and the convenience of being in the center of Portscatho is a great base to discover the Roseland. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you're not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount.
