This restaurant has been a mainstay for me and my family for many years. The atmosphere is not fancy but is pleasant and the food can be really excellent. They have a full bar and a decent selection of wine, and over-all, this is a great choice for Southern Marin Thai food

This family owned restaurant has tasty food. The service is great and the ambience quirky! There is a large variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Those that are too hot to handle are well marked!

Love their green salad and dressing and their pad thai with shrimp. They have a small dining room, some places don't have any backs on the seats, so we always hope for a chair.

I've given this place so many chances and I just can't anymore. Food is meh and the service is snotty and slow. They can't even do right with a staple Pad Thai.

I had just arrived from Thailand a few weeks past and had enjoyed many dishes from top restaurants to small Mom and Pop's in little Villages, as well as, street food in Bangkok . What I did not find at Thep Lela was the delicacies of combination of flavors and the light freshness of the wonderful variety of blends of... More

A long standing favorite, Thep Lela doesn't disappoint. Penang curry was mild and flavorful although the serving size was slightly smaller than I had hoped for. Papaya salad lacked the usual level of heat, but was refreshing and well balanced. Prices are reasonable and a good value. Friendly service rounds out the package

Thep Lela is easily my favorite Thai restaurant. I have brought many friends and each of them has returned many times after. I go here often and highly suggest the yellow chicken curry. The service is exceptional. I am so happy to live so close to such a great Thai restaurant!! I highly recommend.

My pad Thai was fine, but the employees went above and beyond to accommodate my husband by creating a meal that fit with his dietary restrictions. Although we don't have little kids anymore, we remember how hard it was to find kid friendly places. The restaurant had 3 separate tables with kids when we were there and everyone seemed comfortable.

On lark discovered this gem at the back of the Strawberry Village. Must rate this as among the very best Thai food in Marin. If you wish to delight in a variety of new flavors in a surrounding that is warm and inviting try Thep Lela. Must start with the soup, any kind! Excellent service. A full bar. Prices are... More
