We are "foodies" and love to try local restaurants when we travel. Cotton Alley Cafe was the best meal we had on our recent trip to Natchez (and we had plenty of good ones). The wait staff was excellent and the owners even checked to see how we liked our meal. The Cajun pasta and cocktails were delicious. I recommend... More

Great food and service. We struggled to concentrate through our wonderful meal as we were located right next to the dessert display case. Everything looked wonderful so we made sure that we had room after finishing dinner. Apparently, the top seller is their fresh strawberry cake which they were out of. Fortunately, there was one last piece of raspberry cake... More

Excellent food, great service, waiter and remainder of staff very attentive. Accommodating to our children - very pleasant atmosphere. One of our favorites every time we visit Natchez!

We walked in after the lunch crowd, it was still packed, but they still found us a table in the back corner. No problem with that. The menu was fine. My issue was with the seafood gumbo and catfish appetizers. The gumbo was not seafood, it had sausage in it. The catfish appetizer was WAY over priced. For $8 only... More

The food is amazing! The prices are great. The owner is a precious soul that obviously loves his business. Highly reccomend this place for a casual or a dress up date with amazing food.

Attentive, skilled service was not backed up by the food. While the starting salads were fresh and nice, both fish meals were seriously overcooked and disappointing. Desserts were just OK.

Cotton Alley Cafe is in the heart of downtown Natchez and directly on the line of all the local tour buses. Our host at Riverside B&B recommended we try Cotton Alley and made our reservations for us. We tried the oysters and their house pasta dish - both were excellent. Although we viewed the homemade desserts (see photo), we were... More

We arrived late for a dinner and the staff were happy to let us in even though the kitchen was soon closing. Nice atmosphere, good food and great service make this a definite choice for dinner in Natchez. Highly recommend it.

We stopped here on our way home from ladies conference. Lovely little place. I ordered chicken alfredo. It was rather dry & I like my noodles cooked a bit more. My sisters got fish & all different kinds. Mahi-mahi, red fish & they all liked it. We are from a family of excellent cooks so finding something as good as... More
