Where else can you have a home cooked meal under a giant brick lady’s skirt? This was a fun and unique experience with good food as a bonus. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere warm and homey. The sweet tea was a bit bitter...More

I'm a huge fan of "cheesy" roadside attractions, so when I heard about Mammy's Cupboard, I made a point to stop by for lunch when I was in Natchez one day. The attraction side of things didn't disappoint me. A giant "Mammy" looming over the...More

I have waited years to visit this iconic restaurant. I was thrilled to finally cross it off my bucket list, but the food was nothing to write home about. I had the veggie soup and grill cheese, which was good enough. But my husband's brisket...More

The building is shaped like an Aunt Jemima syrup bottle. The inside is a little small with a cozy atmosphere. They have a very small gift shop area with preserves. I ordered the ham and Swiss cheese sandwich with muscadine sauce. It was delicious. It...More

You must stop here and order the "mile high pie"....that's what we called it. My daughter was so impressed that it was still warm when it arrived at the table !!!! Combine that with a blueberry lemonade and you have a very special treat !!!!

I've been here several times and the food is consistently good. They have one daily lunch special option and the rest is their regular sandwich menu. The sandwiches aren't just any sandwich though. Made with homemade bread and served with vegetable soup and potato salad....More

My wife and I have seen write-ups in Southern Living about Mammy's, and we've driven past this place for YEARS. We've always said, "We gotta stop there one day." Today we did, arriving about thirty minutes before closing. The wait staff was friendly, and the...More

Our neighbors told us about this one and glad they did. It was a 2.5 hour drive to get there and we took back roads to keep it interesting. The pictures tell the story, it's a throw back to the fifties, maybe earlier. I think...More
