I recommend going to allmirante if the weather is clear and if you have plenty of time, because the service is very slow and the food is just average.

With a cuisine specializing in seafood, all served dishes came well prepared and cooking point requested.

The restaurant is located in an impressive "falesia", right above the edge of the ocean. View is spectacular and the decoration of the restaurant is quite interesting too. I think it is a bit Bahia culture. To go there you leave the ferry boat and head south (SUL). As for the food, I have to admit I had better. For... More

We came here for dinner and started with the drinks. I ordered coffee with milk (the staff didn't understand English, and our Portuguese is too poor to explain what is coffee latte, so I just told "cafe com leite"). They brought me espresso with the drop of the milk foam on the top. I tried to explain to the waiter... More

Staff don't speak english at all, so they made some rude mistakes in our order. We refused wrong items and they returned it to the kitchen. Then the manager came. From the very beginning she was very rude to us, didn't try to help, and tried to make us feel stupid. We stayed hungry, unsatisfied and sad. After all she... More

Brazilian food with an incredible view! You can see whales in the ocean from here occasionally, and the food is good. It's served in huge portions so expect at least 2 people per item. The Camarao no Moranga (Shrimp in a pumpkin) is the way to go. Add a pineapple with mint juice or caipirinha and you're set.

This place has a great hilltop seaside view worth the visit. The food was ok, though many items on the menu were unavailable, including some of the fish and even orange juice. Prices a bit too expensive for the food in my opinion. I think it may be more interesting to go for a drink and appetizers enjoy the view... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend of us. It didn't disappointed. The view is very nice and should be even better at the sunset as others mentioned. The food is not cheap but they have option that you can split like the Badejo with seafood risotto. It's a bit far from the north of the island but worth the... More
