We love this restaurant. The deal is that you should get in line by 5:15. It opens at 5:30. If you are in line you should get the first seating. Those who arrived after 5:30 had to wait for the second seating. When we were leaving I counted 34 people in line. The food is the best!

Great decor, friendly knowledgeable staff, superb sushi. Each dish is freshly prepared so expect a bit of a wait, but is is definitely worth it. We were certainly not expecting this level of quality in SLC.

We went there at 9pm, the place was crowded (it usually is). However, we had to wait at the bar for only 10 minutes while enjoying a Japanese beer. They then gave us a really nice table (most of them are nice!). The sushi was great, service was also good and the price was very reasonable. And the best is,... More

This restaurant is a staple for both downtown locals and people traveling from afar. Every item from appetizer to cuisine is out of this world. Ask for the Willies Chili (off the menu) for a real treat. Also get the full fried trout while it lasts. The service is bar none and the atmosphere is lively! Best sushi experience in... More

What a great little place our weight was about an hour but we came back it was worth it. We sat at the sushi bar and we had our Sushi made Takashi himself. Which he was wonderful very talented man. We really enjoyed ourselves there and would highly recommend for great sushi we would definitely be back.

There's so many awesome things to choose from, hot food or sushi... both are delicious. A 'must see' destination in Salt Lake City. Thank you Takashi! 💕

Their Sushi is outstanding as well as their braised pork. I always take friends from out of town to this restaurant because it is absolutely awesome.

Sit at the bar for great service and fresh fish from well trained sushi chef staff. Have a drink and appetizer while you wait at the bar.

Hands down, the best sushi Ive had in Utah, and I've tried them all. Always the freshest ingredients and prepared to perfection. A hip and happening place in the heart of downtown that does not take reservations, so the wait may be a while but well worth it. You can have a beer, glass of wine, or a mixed drink... More

The atmosphere is eclectic and high end, being able to see the fish and the sushi chefs working is incredible. The quality of fish is wonderful, beautiful color, moist, fresh flavor. The creative combinations of flavors with the fish, sauces, and veggies in the rolls is exciting and delicious! The cocktail list has the same creativity in it, I have... More
