This place is on the island and always has great fresh pasteries. The strudles are to die for but they also has outstanding "cheese pie", think cheesecake. Fresh bread right out of the oven. They have German lunch specials like Sourbraughten with Spatcle that will make you think your in Germany.

This bakery has quite an array of goods from their signature streudels to woodfired oven loaves of bread. The flake of the croissants is heavier than the French, but the goods are great. I love the apple turnovers made on Saturdays. The fruit pastries, danishes in essence are also great.

We stopped in for breakfast one morning after going in to get a loaf of bread earlier in the week. The bread we had was so delicious, with a thick crust, made in a wood fired oven. The food for breakfast is fantastic. Their quiche is very tasty, also tried some rhubarb pie, which was also tasty. Others in our... More

On my goodness! French toast and bratwurst was to die for! I also tried a chocolate croissant and a kolache! Yum yum yum! Great bakery. Super packed. Don't expect a quick trip. So so so worth the wait! The table markers just cracked us up!

Went by this restaurant for a sandwich. It was very good and used authentic German meat. Recommended for visitors to North Padre Island.

Stopped by on our way to the Padre Island Seashore and our so happy we did!!! The decor and handwritten signs a bit ghetto but the food was authentic and very tasty. We sat on the back deck as they allow dogs 🐶 out there which is SO appreciated. We had a Rhubarb Cake 🎂, Peach Cream Coffee Cake 🍑... More

We went for breakfast and ordered omelets. They were overlooked in an open round serving. The strudels and fruit danish were very tasty though and we'll buy pastry the next time that we're in town!

Hard to believe that there is a bakery this good on the beach. Bread of all shapes and flours. Fresh made pastry galore. Good endless coffee. This quality of selection is usually only found at a farmers market. Breakfast to order a little slow. They can get crowded. Good place to practice your German.
