My husband and I love to try new places. He is from Morocco, so any chance I get, I want to expose him to different types of food. We LOVED both the Barbacoa and Potato and Egg tacos. However, be warned that the tortillas are HUGE. I was only able to finish about a third of it. Next time, we... More

Place has friendly servers, food is good, have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always crowded. Have good desserts and ice cream also. Serve a big plate of nacho's enough to share. Also have a large burger to serve like 5 people.

We took a chance on this place as one of my co-workers ate at a place in McAllen with the same name. We thought it was a chain. This place is not much to look at from... More

Everything about this place is dirty even the staff. They smell like they havent showered and deliver the food with sweat dripping off them. Not mention the ridiculous amount of demerits all the Big Daddys restaurants get.

The restaurant on Central has closed. There is a new one on Central. It has the same atmosphere and food as the one on Boca Chica. I love the food. The people are great. I was dismayed to find out it got a lot of demerits from Food 4 Thought. I hope that has been cleaned up. It's important to... More

Tried their "Big Daddy" hamburger that came with thick-cut fries and a coke. Hamburger came on a grilled bun that was crisp and tasted great. Hambuger was crispy and flavorful. French-fries were thick-cut and not as crisp and flavorful as I'm used to. Many people at our table and everyone ordered something different and there were remarks that next time... More

Praise the genius who came up with Big Daddy's burgers. Their Mexican Burger is my absolute favorite with a whopping beef patty, fresh avocado, pico de gallo, and the works, in between toasted buns. Take this with their perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside seasoned fries, and a large glass of fresh lemonade or smoothie. The staff... More
