Visited a few months ago and needed to stock up on more Korean cooking supplies, so stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. A few other diners joined us as well, including a few Koreans. Hadn't had jajangmyun in a long time so tried that. Pretty tasty. Wife's manduguuk was over-peppered with white pepper (a common problem today... More

Tried the kun mandu (fried dumplings) and the soontobu jigue (tofu stew) recently. The mandu were a little greasy (but I was there very, very early) and the stew quite authentic (based on 5 years in Seoul). Service was friendly and attentive. The side dishes were simple and relatively fresh. Shopping in the the adjacent market also made some products... More

This restaurant is a small portion of a Korean market. The tables are simple. Service was quick and food was prepared quickly to order. I ordered udon and the bowl was large and hot. My friend ordered the Korean beef dish which was tasty. This place is a great spot for authentic cuisine.

One of the things we used to love to do in Los Angeles was to go out for a Korean tofu soup bowl (Sundubu jjigae) for Sunday breakfast. You don’t have to go for breakfast but if you like eggs in your soup, it’s fun to get this for breakfast. The Korean tofu soup a hot soup served in a... More

We came to the market night before and bought some Kimchi that my wife loved. So we had to return for the restaurant part of the market to give it a try. It did not disappoint with the food being fabulous tasting. I had the spicy pork bulgolgi and wife ordered Jopchae that both were spot on taste and freshness.... More

We always look for Korean restaurants, since we taught in Korea and this restaurant is nice, located behind the grocery store. It's always nice to get the many little dishes -- of kimchi, turnips, etc. -- and to enjoy bibimbap again! We always look for dakalbi, so we'll keep hoping that shows up on the menu...or look for a recipe!

Just went there today with my hubby and son. The ladies in there were very friendly. Too bad I didn't get to take a picture on what we've ordered ~,~" We had jjang myun and bulgogi served with banchan and we are very satisfied! Everything just tasted so good. Just like a home made food ♥Another great thing about this... More

We just moved from the Bay Area where there are more options of Korean restaurants. There are really only a few here. We tried A-Ri-Rang recently. It is in a small Korean supermarket that we almost missed when we drive by. To our surprise, the food is pretty good, compared to the ones we had in the Bay Area. The... More

Every now and then you find authentic food...and I mean AUTHENTIC...tucked somewhere others can't find. Arirang is one of them. The people there are genuine and (drum roll)... KOREAN! The food is amazing--not salty and watered down for American standards. It's loaded with fresh garlic, tons of hot pepper, and awesome flavor. Do not come here if you're hoping to... More
