I wanted to like this place. No! I wanted to LOVE it! We've been BEGGING for a good soul food joint since moving from Detroit years ago. When I heard about Nexus and checked out the pictures of those piles of chicken sitting on top of those sumptuous waffles, I thought we'd finally arrived. Alas, it was a huge disappointment.... Fantastic waiter. I had the mac and cheese with green chilies as appetizer very good. My wife enjoyed it as well. We very much enjoyed our dinner there. Good selection of beer as well.

We order the chicken and waffles and collard greens. They were the best I ever had in a restaurant. A real home cooking experience.

House beers are ok, the specials are where they seem to shine. I had the jumbo chicken tenders which were juicy and flavorful. The bar tenders was knowledgeable and made great suggestions.

I have gone and tasted many brews and this place has the best tasting and smooth beer I have ever drank. Those that don't like beer will like theirs. The menu was great. Several varieties. The brewery is tucked away and hard to find. Worth the trip.

The place is a bit hard to find,(off the main road in a back parking lot) but worth it.In my last review, I mentioned the chicken was almost a good as my Mom's :) The food is outstanding not just good! A Southern-style menu in New Mexico..and it works!I... More

Enjoyed the chicken and waffles and hamburger with cheese and bacon. Having lived in the Southeast a number of years, it is nice to find a place that knows how to cook southern dishes AND serve up some tasty craft beers. Love the neighborhood atmosphere and "lifetime vs. annual" membership.

I was in town on business and wanted to try something new. Found this place that was featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Located right off the interstate. There was a bit of a wait when we got there. Very cool hip vibe inside. The hostess was extremely helpful and offered to get us beers while we waited. There... More
