Family hosts took us for brunch to Bruno's during our visit to Albuquerque for the balloon fiesta. It is one of their favorite places for authentic Mexican food. We agree with them, food was excellent and prices were reasonable. Service was good but a little slow considering it was not busy.

We were with friends who are locals who were taking us to an entirely different restaurant and we found out the wait there was 2+ hours so we wound mu at El Bruno's and we were glad we did. We got seated almost immediately, the drinks arrived quickly and they were really good. Our orders were taken and we had... More

One of our favorite in town places to bring visitors for New Mexican fare. It was busy this night as the Balloon Fiesta was just about to begin. We did get seated promptly, but had to wait a while for service. That continued through the night. Our entrees were all served hot and were the great tasting items we had... More

Came with my family for dinner, the atmosphere is nice, a little to dark, had to use my light on the phone to read the menu. Staff is nice, but slow and forgettable at times. Will come back for drinks and the awesome queso.

We had four couples in our party on a Monday night during ballon fiesta. We dined early, 5:30 and it was not very busy. House margaritas were very good. Chips were hot and fresh and the salsa was good. There is quite a varied menu and everyone was satisfied. Surprised to see trout on the menu, but I tried it... More

Had an amazing meal with family. The carne adovado is excellent. As well the chile rellenos are delicious!

I love the food at El Bruno however the service was not spectacular. Our server and the people who worked there were friendly and nice but it the service was incredibly slow. I went at about 1030 on Sunday for breakfast. The restaurant was not horribly packed but there was a large party. We were sat right away and many... More

A business trip to Albuquerque afforded me the opportunity to dine at El Bruno's once again - and once again - they did not disappoint! Friends and business associates of mine had never eaten here although their offices are not too far away. Afterwards, they said they were planning on returning! El Bruno's has always a favorite of mine and... More

We visited El Bruno's for lunch on a weekday. We sat down by 11:10 and by noon the place was over 1/3 full. Our server was familiar with the menu and assisted us with our orders. The taco chips were fresh (especially the red ones), but the salsa was too hot for our taste. I had fish tacos and my... More

My wife and I have stopped and eaten at El Bruno's in Cuba many times, but this was the first visit at the restaurant in Albuquerque. The atmosphere was Southwestern and cozy. We sat in the windowed alcove of the restaurant. The southwestern view was nice and was a good setting for the great margaritas and Mexican food. The staff... More
