A large group of friends met here for lunch. Most of us went for the lunch buffet. The choices were hot, spicy, low spice if needed and yummy. Service was great and we enjoyed the sopapillas with lots of honey. We also enjoyed the chicken cam - 70 eggs collected on the day we visited.

Good, a little pricey, buffet. They have cheese enchiladas, chicken enchiladas, taco bar, poodle, chile con carne, beans, rice, chips, salsa, etc. Lunch is fast and good.

El Pinto is located in a old hacienda that has many different sections from bar side to patio. Any setting is beautiful. Food is delicious. Sopa's ate the best

If you want some real New Mexico cuisine, this is the place. Green chile was perfection! Margaritas are superb. Service is excellent.

The food has continued to get better and better. They're also doing a great job of offering healthy Mexican dishes. We had stopped going there over the years because it was always just so-so. Not now! We will continue to support El Pinto and share them with everyone. Thanks for bringing back a special place to go. The service was... More

This place is big. It can seat a big party. They have a live band. The food is good and it's big serving. I had a taco salad and it was huge.

We had lunch here to see if we wanted to bring a group of visitors here. The ambiance is good and the food was ok but the service was spotty. The prices are on the high side especially considering that neither chips or sopapillas were served with the meal (this may have been an oversight on the part of the... More

Food is not so much authentic New Mexican. It is more of a touristy type New Mexican food. Surroundings and ambience is Awesome!

I walked in to a maze of little spaces that all looked like places I would want to wander. Since I had no idea what to order, many pages of options, I asked our waiter. His suggestion was just super tasty... Did a bunch of little sides to try as much as possible and enjoyed that with a pitcher of... More

The service was fine and the meal was adequate. However, there are better and cheaper options for real New Mexican food in Albuquerque including Padillas, Barelas and Duran's drug store. El Pinto has the upscale ambiance that some people crave, but for affordable and authentic food, you can do better.
