The facility is great. Very large but broken up so you are not in some big dinning hall. It all ends there. In terms of service they did have our reservation. Two of us ordered a beer.30 minutes later they showed up. Wrong beers but...More

Nice atmosphere but food was average at best. Guacamole had plenty of avocado but no flavor. Margarita was weak. Enchilada plate was disappointing. Not worth the trip.

Friends and I went to this restaurant while at the balloon festival. It's a little ways out but worth the drive. Large hacienda style. Food was good (not excellent) but still a nice dinner.

We love El Pinto. The place itself is amazing. The food was pretty amazing, too. As a large group in ABQ for Balloon Fiesta, I didn't know what to expect--but they were very ready for us, but everything was good and plenty. A mariachi band...More

This was a real treat. We decided on the El Pinto after reviewing the menu. We were given two recommendations by locals for this style cuisine and made an excellent choice. The restaurant is busy so be prepared to wait for about a half hour...More

Authentic old Mexican look. Lots of different rooms, including patio with fireplace. Service was perfect. We all had the lunch buffet, which featured an excellent selection. Food was tasty (but spicy).

No better place for atmosphere, especially in the outside patio. The food is enjoyed by tourists, but locals (such as I) like our chile hotter.

We went on a Friday afternoon around 5pm without a reservation and we were a group of 8 people! I think calling ahead and asking is always wise! But no a reservation is not required!
