My family and I had been a few time before and the food was outrageously delicious! Walk in today. No restaurant! The woman at the cash register counter was staring out the window and didn't even acknowledge we walked in! How rude! Said the closed the restaurant 6 months ago. The ONLY reason I am giving a 5 is because... More

I stocked up on tahini, spices, and a few canned goods. Best of all was the baba ghanoush, hummus, and feta fresh from the case at the front counter. The baba was different than I've had before, chunkier, and it was a treat.

Most of the dishes are very good. The red sumac powder adds not only color but a very distinctive taste.

Cafe Istanbul has every possible Middle Eastern grocery you could want. They carry Bulgarian Feta Cheese which is the best. Lunch there is excellent!

Very friendly establishment…best Feta Cheese (Bulgarian) and fresh Pita bread. Go early in the week to purchase the Pita before it is gone.

I ordered gyro platter. It came with greek salad which was delicious, yellow rice that was fluffy and good but the gyro lacks the strong taste of a gyro (those that I had in NYC) . It also came with a pc. of pita bread. The grocery is fun to roam around, there are lots of imported products without any... More

The shop here is outstanding -- you'll find every type of middle eastern product / spice / canned good available. I'll return again and again to purchase those groceries. The restaurant was good (I like Turkish / Middle Eastern Food), but wasn't exceptional. There were a few booths off to the side of the grocery, with menus. The service was... More

My daughter got a craving for Mediterranean food and knowing we were going to Albuquerque, decided to try and find a place on the web. Lo and behold, she found this place and I am here to tell you, it was really quite amazingly good. The special was more than tasty and the service excellent and all nestled inside a... More
